Victoria Beckham Reveals Solo Career Was a Mistake

Victoria Beckham posed in lingerie for Harper's Bazaar's special double cover December issue. While she was showing off her more relaxed curls at a basketball match with the family at the weekend, Victoria wears her hair in a tight top knot hairstyle for the 16 page spread by Alexi Lubomirski. FabUK has the lowdown on what Victoria said about her customers and her nerves and I've got extracts from her interview about her solo career, her future, Emma Watson, her exercise regime and the importance of positive thinking. Here are the highlights:

On her solo career: "People never believed the solo singing career, and it wasn’t the real me – I was a little bit lost at the time. I don’t mind making mistakes. I just can’t live with anyone else’s mistakes. I’m a complete control freak. I’m not the easiest person to work with because I’m so passionate and being a working mum, it’s a balancing act."
On her future as a fashion designer: "I just want to learn as much as I can. I was always pushed into the theatre and dance – it’s just taken me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do."
On why Emma Watson caught her eye: "So sweet, so true to herself…. There are so many young girls wearing too much make-up, too much hairspray – I find that very dated."
On positive thinking: "If you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will."
On why her exercise regime is so important: "I didn’t want to rely on retouching …. I wanted to look at those pictures in 20 years’ time and say, 'Wow, look – after three kids – I didn’t look bad.'"

Beckhams Watch Basketball, Next Stop the 2012 Olympics?

Victoria Beckham took Romeo and Cruz to join David on Friday for one of his favourite pasttimes: watching the LA Lakers! The family sat court side as their basketball team took on the Dallas Mavericks at Staples Center in Los Angeles, and Harper's Bazaar cover star Victoria showed off her voluminous waves. By Sunday David was back on the pitch for LA Galaxy's 2-2 draw against Chivas USA, and by the evening he took up a spectator role again with Brooklyn to watch the Lakers play the Atlanta Hawks. Rumours about the Spice Girls continue to surface, and while musicals and TV shows have been denied, David could be in favour of the latest reports that the girls will perform at the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.

Geri Dines Out While Mel B Confirms Spice Girls Will Be Back

Geri Halliwell wrapped up warm in a white coat as she left Nobu in London with Henry Beckwith last night. It was Geri who first revealed the Spice Girls were planning a reunion, and after various denials and rumours of musicals and TV talent searches, Melanie Brown has once again affirmed that the girls will be doing something together in the future, saying:

"We are definitely planning something. We haven’t decided exactly what yet – but I can say it will be big... A Spice Girls musical programme is completely untrue – someone made some sh**ty money out of that! When we all decide what we’re going to do, you will know about it - there will be an announcement. You know what we’re like!"

I wonder if Victoria will change her mind and join in too, or if she'll be too busy launching her new range of shoes and handbags. Do you think all five will team up again?

Emma Supports Mel C While Mel B Responds to Rumours

Emma Bunton and her partner Jade Jones watched Melanie Chisholm in her first performance of Blood Brothers at the Phoenix Theatre in London last night, even though Mel had apparently banned her bandmates from her debut as she wanted time to perfect the role first. Melanie Brown was also out and about in London yesterday with her hubby Stephen Belafonte, and she responded to rumours about a TV talent search to cast a Spice Girls musical. She said: "Looking for girls to take over? It's a load of rubbish. But we will be doing something together very soon but my lips are sealed." What do you think the girls have planned?

Mel C, Mel B & Girls Could Spice Up Your TV With Talent Show

Melanie Chisholm showed off her Nora Batty style at a photo call for her West End show Blood Brothers at the Phoenix Theatre, while Melanie Brown wore a bright blue dress as she hit the town with hubby Stephen Belafonte in London last night. Following rumours about a Spice Girls musical, the latest reports today suggest the girls are planning a TV talent show to find versions of themselves for the musical. Their former manager Simon Fuller is said to be helping with the idea, which would see the band sit on the judging panel. Victoria Beckham reportedly has other talent show offers and has no interest in a reunion, but with Mel B still hinting at a comeback I'm intrigued to see what happens next. What about you?

Mel C Denies Spice Girls Reunion on GMTV

Melanie Chisholm appeared on GMTV this morning to talk about her upcoming role in Blood Brothers, and she denied the rumours about a Spice Girls reunion. Ever since Geri Halliwell said they were "gathering information and thinking about possibilities" there's been speculation about a reunion, but following Emma's denial about a World Cup gig Mel C has also shot down the rumours. In response to Andrew Castle's question "is there a reunion?" Mel said: "No. There's nothing on the cards at all. I'm in the West End now for six months, everyone's busy". Perhaps Geri's "creative plans" really are about a Spice Girls stage musical rather than a band reunion. Check out Mel's interview below and tell me what you think about the rumours.

Mel B Confirms Spice Girls Reunion at Palm Pre Party

Melanie Brown joined VV Brown, Miquita Oliver and Rachel Stevens at the launch of the O2 Palm Pre at Shoreditch House in London last night, and confirmed the rumours that the Spice Girls are planning a reunion! She said: "We are definitely going to be doing something together again soon. We’re actually working on it right now. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but it’s really, really exciting. I can’t wait to be singing with the girls again!" Although Mel has denied rumours of a World Cup performance, it certainly sounds like Girl Power will be back and the majority of you are excited for another reunion.

Geri Recycles Dress as Spice Girls Deny World Cup Rumours

Geri Halliwell wore a dress she wore to the 2002 Oscars at the Breast Cancer Care 2009 Fashion Show at London's Grosvenor House last night. Following her revelation on This Morning that the Spice Girls are discussing another reunion, rumours have raged about what they might be planning, but Melanie Brown has shot down one particular report, tweeting: "World cup! wow the press are soo silly no I am not getting the girls together for the world cup!!! We are getting together for other reasons!" Emma Bunton also denied World Cup rumours in her Now column, and Victoria Beckham has denied any knowledge of a Spice Girls comeback, so we'll just have to wait and see what the girls have planned.

Victoria Heads Out of Heathrow as Spice Girl Rumours Swirl

After attending parties and shows at London Fashion Week, Victoria Beckham didn't let her style slip as she headed to Heathrow Airport yesterday. She wasn't in town for dinner with the other four former Spice Girls last week, but Geri Halliwell has revealed she was texting Victoria throughout the evening, and they have all been discussing possibilities. David has had his fair share of speculation about his future career moves, and now the spotlight's on Victoria. Adding further fuel to the fire, today it is being reported that Mel B wants the band to reform for a one-off performance at the World Cup in South Africa in 2010. Vote in my poll to let me know if you'd like to see another Spice Girls reunion. Whether Victoria joins in remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure, she's not impressed by the attention given to her weight, saying:

"I am fine - happy and healthy... I find it irresponsible when people obsess about my shape and size. I appreciate there are young girls and women who look at me as a role model and it is simply untrue to say I do not eat and I am unhealthy. I have a healthy diet, a healthy lifestyle and plenty of energy to run after my three energetic young boys and travel the world managing my fashion business."
