Over the weekend I was suggesting that you get out and play a fun (and possibly slightly competitive) game of wiffle ball. Well, I just had to tell you about something I found that will make it even better!
Pink wiffle balls!

Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy smiled and waved in NYC on Friday as the Christmas Carol train tour pulled into Grand Central Station. Jim was soon off to film an appearance on Good Morning America, as he begins promoting his holiday movie before its release next Friday. He's still rocking the beard we saw him sporting earlier this month, and it might come in handy for Jim as he heads into Winter.

I feel bad throwing out pickle brine, but I never know what to do with it when I eat the last pickle. My friend saves the juice for her Bloody Mary mix but I'm not a big fan of the brunchy cocktail. But apparently pickle brine has another use — as a sports drink!

OK, I love lace, I love bell bottoms, but put the two together, and you get these Kova & T Lace Bell Bottoms ($165). I've already spotted a couple of hipster gals sporting this look, but I'm still on the fence. They remind me of Cher — not in a good way — and I can't get over the whole goth vibe.

If you have never tried snow sports, but are sick of hanging out inside while the world is blanketed in white, then you need to check out the Winter Feel Good program. It was created by the organization Winter Trails to help people experiment with Winter sports. Their mission is to help folks stay fit by exercising outside even though there is snow on the ground.

If you're in a Tokyo pool, think twice before pulling out your nail polish. From now on, Japanese competitive swimmers could face a lifetime ban from the sport if they dye their hair or have brightly decorated nails. Why?

For marathoners, crossing the finish line comes with battle scars — sore muscles, sunburn, sore nipples, and the impressive yet painful bruised toenails. Even though their feet are protected by socks and cushioned sneaks, the repetitive banging against the front of a runner's shoe causes bleeding under the nails, and can sometimes cause nails to just fall off. When these damaged nails do grow back, they don't adhere as well to the skin, becoming an ongoing problem for serial marathoners.

It's not every day that you see a pregnant woman going for a run, like Miss Kourtney Kardashian here. On her hour-long jog, I'm sure she got some stares and whispers. Not just because she's famous, but because she's got a big bun in the oven.
