Freaky or Fabulous: Camilla Skovgaard Heels

Footwear designer Camilla Skovgaard is one to watch. Net-a-porter included a pair of her killer heels in their Autumn must haves and I fell in love with her footwear in May. These tassled heels are a key piece from the Spring 2010 collection and certainly play in to the new season trend for slip on mules (also seen at Chanel). I have mixed feelings about this shoe and I can't wait to hear your thoughts. Do you think these heels are freaky or fabulous?

What to Expect on the High Street Next Spring

Attending catwalk shows and reporting back is always exciting, but when you see the High Street interpretations it gives you an idea of how the trends will really manifest. Yesterday, Arcadia held their Spring press day which presented the items due to hit store from January 2010. Although I can't show you any images just yet (patience is a virtue!) I wanted to tell you a bit about what to expect.

First up, I checked out Miss Selfridge which was very girly. It was divided in to two key trends; neutrals and '90s florals. There were nude shades covered in sequins for flapper style dresses with subtle jacquard floral prints and delicate feminine fabrics. These were contasted against bright, floral prints, grungey designs and '90s boho.

Next up was Topshop, which is always the most trend driven of the High Street stores. They split the Spring collection in to four key themes; body armour, la latina, meadow and techno traveller. Body armour was my favourite part with sportswear inspired designs and '90s column maxi dresses. La latina is the high Summer collection with bright fun prints, whilst meadow is a bit more subdued with soft floral prints. Finally, techno traveller will appeal to festival fans as pieces were bright, cheerful with embellishment and fringing.

Fab Face: Lily Donaldson

Lily Donaldson was a key fixtures on the catwalks in New York, London, Paris and Milan. The British model strutted her stuff at some of the biggest shows of the season including Valentino, Burberry, and Lanvin. The variation in design houses that she represented shows off her versatility as a model and confirms her place as one of the world's top models. Click through to see her Spring 2010 appearances.

2010 Spring: Calvin Klein, CK Jeans, and CK Underwear

Clean. Precise. Minimal. Three terms Calvin Klein wants you to use when describing its Spring '10 collection. Staying true to the house's less-is-more aesthetic, Francisco Costa has delivered a line of basics with a sexy utilitarian nature. You'll find organic fabrics and most colors of the rainbow: sand, white, and khaki as staples, canary, melon, poppy, fuchsia, turquoise, and cobalt as accents. Drawstring cargos, denim vests, fitted blazers, parkas, denim judo pants, and shirt dresses are all solid. But one print piece stands out as the cool black sheep: a black-and-white, tie-dye dress that's feminine and bold.

Swimsuits are also part of the Spring family - a two-piece in warm gray and a one piece in solid gray or gray Bengal print. The handbags are equally minimal; hobos, totes, and rounded clutches are smooth and unstructured, with gold and silver hardware. Wooden-stacked heels and flat sandals are au naturel and sporty.

Spring 2010 Trend Alert: Neutral Palette

Nudes have been a big trend throughout the Summer with many celebrities stepping out in the neutral shade. It looks set to continue through to the Spring as many of the major design houses featured the shade on the catwalk last month. The Fab Faces of Spring '10

With Spring ready-to-wear in the bag, designers are conjuring up their Spring ad campaigns, placing the hottest of the hot with the most stylish shutterbugs. Thus far, we know Lara Stone will star in Louis Vuitton's ads, while Daisy Lowe will shine for its swimwear line. In Versace land, Donatella has chosen Fabcon Georgia May Jagger to be photographed by Mario Testino. On the celebrity front, Madonna was snatched up by Dolce & Gabbana - we're hoping she won't look as photoshopped as her previous Louis Vuitton ads.

Crazy Headpieces Rule at China Fashion Week, Spring '10

China Fashion Week Spring '10 is underway in Beijing, and so far, crazy headpieces rule. They were made of any and all of the following: safety pins, flowers, studs, tulle, feathers, and leather. Would you wear this severe safety-pin arrangement on your head?! Lady Gaga would. Proceed with caution: headpieces and masks look crazier than they sound.

Kristen Stewart in Aquatic Chic Proenza Schouler: Love It or Hate It?

Her nude J.Mendel was pretty but this is straight up fun. Kristen Stewart hit the London red carpet for her new flick, New Moon. While most are focusing on her chemistry with Robert, I'm zooming in on her Proenza Schouler Spring '10 look. It's youthful, spunky, and so is Kristen. I only wish the top were a tad more fitted. I loved the scuba sandals on the catwalk, but Kristen's black patent pumps work as well. What do you think of Kristen in Proenza?

Fab Faces: Lara Stone

Lara Stone has shot to fashion stardom this year appearing on many catwalks including Miu Miu, Prada and Chanel and countless magazines. Most recently she scored the cover of Vogue UK where she discussed her previous battle with alcohol. Lara is said to be representing a change in mood with models as the focus shifts away from heroin chic.
