It was a busy day in SF yesterday with all eyes on the "It's Only Rock and Roll" event. Not only did Steve Jobs made his triumphant, black turtlenecked return to the keynote stage after taking time off for his health, but iTunes 9 was introduced, and then there were the iPods. Oh, the video and FM tuner enabled iPods.

Where do I begin?! This morning at Apple's "It's Only Rock and Roll" Event here in San Francisco, it was all about the music (a new and improved iTunes) and the iPod (new shuffles, a better iPod Classic, and a new Nano with a builtin video camera to compete with the Flip). Sites like Gizmodo and Engadget were there to catch all of the live coverage, so here's a quick recap .

Wow, things are really revving up on the Apple Tablet front. First it was a product launch date rumor, then a new commercial, and now a tentative keynote date.
This planned keynote, expected to be held in San Francisco during the week of Sept.

On the same day the iPhone 3G S debuted in Apple and AT&T stores across the country, the The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple's CEO Steve Jobs received a liver transplant two months ago in a Tennessee hospital. They also noted that he is recovering well and plans to be back at work later this month, as planned, on a part-time basis.
Now keep in mind that the WSJ isn't revealing its sources for this news, so nothing has been officially confirmed.

Today, the highly anticipated iPhone 3G S makes its way to stores nationwide. Another year, another new iPhone, which is expected to woo gadget enthusiasts. Although Mr. Apple himself — Steve Jobs — was absent from this year's keynote address at WWDC and is said to still be working from home, I've decided to dedicate a slice of today to him.
