There are two types of red-carpet personalities I like: classic and experimental. You guessed it, Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen is the latter and that's why I love her. She has yet to bore me with a red-carpet look.

Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen created quite a stir as she showed off her new fringe at the Chris Benz show at New York Fashion Week, yesterday. The choppy bleach blonde style had a rock chick edge with rough layers and an almost mullet-esque feel to it. Taylor sensibly offset her cutting-edge hair do with a more glamorous gold satin dress that showed off her perfect, almost translucent skin.

Most of the cast of Gossip Girl lent their support to Penn Badgley's film career last night as they hit the red carpet at The Stepfather premiere in New York City. His co-star and offscreen girlfriend Blake Lively looked very laid back chic in leather trousers and an oversized blazer. She was joined by Taylor Momsen in a racey tight fitting number and Jessica Szohr in a coat dress and skinny jeans.

Whose Makeup Did You Like Most At New Moon's NY Premiere?
Last night at the New Moon premiere in New York City, the stars from the Twilight saga and celebrity fans gathered for the finale in this long, and seemingly grueling (albeit exciting) press tour. I loved Kristen Stewart's dark eyes contrasted by her pale skin and lips and Ashley Greene's pretty pink pout, but I wasn't totally sold on the overly mature red lip and metallic dark eye on Taylor Momsen. Nate and Blair are still going strong, however, it's upsetting to see he and Chuck arguing over a girl. Serena, Lily and Rufus get schemed by Gabriel, and Georgina Sparks is back to spice things up, even though the Upper East Side is never dull!

Taylor Momsen was out partying this weekend in New York City sporting a pair of on trend ripped jeans. She teamed them with killer gladiator heels and rock chick accessories including rosary beads and a leather cuff. I really like this look on Taylor, although the jeans are a little too ripped for me.
