There are two types of red-carpet personalities I like: classic and experimental. You guessed it, Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen is the latter and that's why I love her. She has yet to bore me with a red-carpet look. The actress attended Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Annex NYC grand opening in an embellished Alexander Wang dress and Balenciaga pumps. How cool is the transparent detail on the frock? To go along with the rockin' theme, Taylor added a chunky silver cuff and a studded bangle to the mix. Good (bad) girl.

New Moon Cast Has a Big NY Finale Before Tonight's Opening!

The cast of New Moon trotted out for one more red carpet in NYC tonight. They all showed up to greet fans and press for a final special screening before the movie's official release tonight at midnight! Kristen rocked out in a green one shoulder dress to finish off her spectacular fashionable weeks - find out how to get New Moon star style here and take a look at the top five Twilight red carpet moments. Elizabeth Reaser and Ashley Greene both look fantastic amid some of their other celebrity attendees like Natalie Portman and Taylor Momsen.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen arrived together, but posed separately. Despite another exhausting day, Robert managed some smiles for the awaiting crowd who cheered big whenever they caught a glimpse. The rest of the men of the Twilight saga didn't look too shabby themselves! Last night at the New Moon premiere in New York City, the stars from the Twilight saga and celebrity fans gathered for the finale in this long, and seemingly grueling (albeit exciting) press tour. I loved Kristen Stewart's dark eyes contrasted by her pale skin and lips and Ashley Greene's pretty pink pout, but I wasn't totally sold on the overly mature red lip and metallic dark eye on Taylor Momsen. Out of these six makeup styles below, whose did you like most?

Most of the cast of Gossip Girl lent their support to Penn Badgley's film career last night as they hit the red carpet at The Stepfather premiere in New York City. His co-star and offscreen girlfriend Blake Lively looked very laid back chic in leather trousers and an oversized blazer. She was joined by Taylor Momsen in a racey tight fitting number and Jessica Szohr in a coat dress and skinny jeans. Sadly, Leighton Meester did not attend (her onscreen hate of Dan Humphrey did not overflow in to real life – she was promoting her music), but out of these three ladies, who do you think is the best dressed?

Bang Bangs for Taylor

Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen created quite a stir as she showed off her new fringe at the Chris Benz show at New York Fashion Week, yesterday. The choppy bleach blonde style had a rock chick edge with rough layers and an almost mullet-esque feel to it. Taylor sensibly offset her cutting-edge hair do with a more glamorous gold satin dress that showed off her perfect, almost translucent skin.

With Victoria Beckham unveiling a new short, spiky crop at Fashion Week, and America's Next Top Model winner CariDee English recently getting a fringe cut, it certainly seems that one way to keep the papparrazi interested is to go for the chop.

As Kate Moss knew only too well when she sported this look earlier in the year – a long fringe that falls in your eyes gives you a mysterious, sultry appearance, making this a super-sexy, as well as on-trend look for Taylor. Thick fringe also draws attention to your nose and mouth, which is not so great if you have a large nose, but if like Taylor, yours is button cute then it works well. I love how Taylor has complemented the vanilla blonde shade in her hair with natural makeup and rose pink lip colour. Now we have something to gossip about.

There has been a retro feel on the set of Gossip Girl recently. The cast and crew are currently working hard on the third series but my girl PopSugar UK has been providing us with sneak previews of the action happening in the Big Apple. Hilary Duff has joined the show and got in to the '20s revival. I noticed that both Hilary and Taylor Momsen have been spotted in layered necklaces which is sure to spark a comeback. Taylor Momsen was out partying this weekend in New York City sporting a pair of on trend ripped jeans.
