Celebrities Brave London Rain to Applaud the Pride of Britain

A whole host of stars came out for the Pride Of Britain Awards at London's Grosvenor House last night. The awards, which celebrate ordinary people's extraordinary actions, brought about a few reunions, with former X Factor contestants Alexandra Burke and those JLS boys Aston, Marvin, Oritse and JB hanging out with judges Dannii Minogue and a curly-haired Cheryl Cole, who was joined by her Girls Aloud band mates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.

Emma Bunton, one of the awards judges, and Melanie Brown both walked the red carpet and no doubt took the opportunity to discuss the Spice Girls reunion. Naomi Campbell and Gordon and Tana Ramsay were amongst several guests who also partied at Simon Cowell's 50th on Saturday: they must be looking forward to a relaxing week now! Lots of other stars attended the ceremony too, from Myleene Klass with her melon coloured lips to Louise Redknapp in her colourful print dress. Check out all the red carpet style with my girl FabUK.

Will You Watch The X Factor or Strictly Come Dancing Tonight?

Strictly Come Dancing began last night, which means that tonight and on Saturdays from now on, TV viewers have a bit of a dilemma thanks to a scheduling switch by the BBC. The X Factor starts on ITV1 at 8pm, but the dancing kicks off at 7.25pm, with both shows going on until just after 9pm. I absolutely love both shows, so I'd love to hear which one you're going to prioritise as they air tonight. I'll be on Twitter this evening covering Strictly and then flicking between that and The X Factor from 8 until 9.15pm, so join me and let me know what you think of the shows. But for now - which one are you going to watch live tonight?

Tess Takes on Cheryl in the Saturday Night Style Wars

You'd be forgiven for thinking that the main style battle that takes place on a Saturday night is between X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue. Well, whilst I certainly have my eye on that one it seems that a new style battle is about to emerge between Cheryl and Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly.

Earlier this week, PopSugar UK revealed the line up for this series which includes organic beauty guru Jo Wood, Hollyoaks star Ali Bastian and Footballers Wives actress Zoe Lucker.

Tess used the launch to introduce us to her designer frocks posing in a gorgeous Alberta Ferretti one shoulder number. I caught up with her earlier this year at the Ashley Isham Autumn show where she revealed she was eyeing up Ashley's designs for the new series. She told me, "I particularly like the pink dress with a black stripe down the side and a gold belt." Whatever she decides to wear, there is sure to be a lot of glamour!

Stylish People Party at the Serpentine

The Serpentine gallery in London's Hyde Park held it's annual Summer party as some of London's most glamorous folk gathered together for a few glasses of champagne! Amongst the party goers were many models including Jacquetta Wheeler, Erin O'Connor and Lily Donaldson along with classic faces Jo Wood and Bianca Jagger. Stars Celebrate Summer At The Serpentine

The Serpentine Gallery in London held its annual summer party yesterday, with guests dressing up in their best for the occasion. Natalie Imbruglia looked stunning in her bright red dress, while Miquita Oliver went a little more casual in her leather jacket and short white dress. Thandie Newton looked gorgeous in her painted minidress, New Moon's Jamie Campbell-Bower wore shades for the occasion, while Will Young looked very handsome in his black suit. Little Boots aka Victoria Hesketh's black dress had a kooky silhouette, and Tess Daly looked gorgeous - and very tanned - in gold. She wasn't the only blonde there though, Bella UK wants to know which guest's blonde look is your favourite. Now, lets hope we get a little more summer sun worth celebrating!

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay Welcome Baby Amber

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay welcomed their second daughter this weekend. Tess gave birth to Amber Isabella, who weighed 7lb 15oz, at 5.26pm on Friday at a London hospital. Vernon said: "She is absolutely beautiful and I’m thrilled".

Amber joins big sister, 4-year-old Phoebe Elizabeth. After a few months off, Tess will return to cohost Strictly Come Dancing in September. Congratulations to the growing family!

Trend Alert: Centre Parts at the 2009 BAFTA TV Awards

Last night at the Television BAFTA Awards, the most popular hairstyle of the evening was centre parts. This is a familiar style that we typically see on celebrities at affairs. I love the way the lengths on those that wore their hair down was unstructured and for Louise Redknapp and Tamara Beckwith, they let tendrils fall loosely to the wayside for a more casual effect. 2009 BAFTA TV Awards: The Winners

The press room was packed last night as the winners and presenters filed through after presenting and picking up trophies at the BAFTA TV Awards. It was an exciting night for Skins stars Kaya Scodelario and Hannah Murray, who beamed as they held up the only award that BAFTA TV Awards audience had voted for, while Kenneth Branagh held up the Drama series award he picked up for Wallander. Other winners included Harry Hill, David Mitchell, The Bill, Mad Men and The X Factor - what an exciting, star-studded night!

Women Dazzle in Blues and Reds at BAFTA TV Awards

The women walked the red carpet in style at the BAFTA TV Awards at London's Royal Festival Hall this evening. Although an array of colours were on display, two colours ruled: blue and red. Tess Daly covered her growing baby bump with blue ruffles, and Fellowship winner Jennifer Saunders also kept her hemline short. Davina McCall and Mischa Barton both took their blue gowns to the floor and looked gorgeous in the evening sunshine.

The red carpet also hosted ladies in red, as many female stars matched their dresses to their environment. Tanya Bryer, Louise Redknapp, Patsy Kensit and Michelle Ryan were all scarlet women in their floor length and fabulous gowns. Do you have a favourite?
