Aug 12 2009 - 2:00pm I've built many a fort in my day, be it as a kid with siblings and friends, or recently, helping younger cousins. Each time, the design took on a new form, but mine never looked as pretty and ethereal as Graham's daughters' tent in The Holiday. Yes, "building forts is for kids," but does it have to be?

oh yes, in the good ol' days (:
1Many many. Both inside and out! God I miss my childhood.
2Oh yes from couch cushions, the couch, blankets and a few well placed chairs. Numerous times.
How can you not have built a fort as a kid? It's, like, a mandatory part of being a kid along with taking baths with your friends, indoor camping and sleepover parties.
3Aww good memories!!
That was one of my favorite things to do as a
kid. Plus hide-and-seek in the dark.
4i used to love building forts!
5we had a dome climbing frame in the garden and used to attach sheets, towels and blankets to it with clothes pegs till it was completely covered.
my mum thought it was the biggest eye sore ever, especially in the summer when we could keep it up overnight.
she was pleased it made us happy and kept us occupied.
but more pleased when we got older and it went so she could have her pretty garden back
If you haven't you aren't human.
6yep yep, inside and out... and for my children it's one of their favorite things to do!!
7Well then I guess I'm human yet because I haven't so far
