Though I am firmly rooted in the digital age, I am still obsessed with writing stuff down, everything from story ideas to grocery lists to random thoughts and reminders to myself. But writing is so much more rewarding when you have a cute little notebook to do it in. Here's a look at some of the most fabulous blank books I could find, from both mainstream and independent designers, so you can start taking notes in style.
Trend: Moleskine Notebooks
That's right folks, even in this age of BlackBerries, Treos and iPhones, the old school Moleskine notebook is making a comeback. According to Buzz Feed, my source for all things hip and hot, leather-bound notebooks are gaining a cult following as a low-tech PDA. GTD freaks and creative types - and those who are both - love the mini form factor of the Moleskine.

Need to jot down notes in high style? Then try out this Letterpress Birds Journal ($10) from Small Square Design. Its understated, pretty design and diminutive size make it the perfect spot for taking notes on any topic that tickles your fancy.
