Just when I thought Rachel Bilson couldn't get any cuter, she goes and brings up babies. Not her babies, but babies close to her that may someday grow up into Bilson-like adults. Huzzah! More Bilsons! Bilson/Bilson '08. Anyway, R-Bils was at Fashion Week briefly last week, but had to rush home for a very special delivery. Here's more:

"I have to fly back out to L.A. straight after at 6 a.m. My stepmother is having a baby, so I'm literally in and out. It's a girl - there are no surprises."

Now all we need are some pictures of her, holding her baby sister, while walking her adorable dogs...or something. Epic levels of adorable.

Bilson Spews Cuteness Onto Runway, Hopefully the Models Didn't Slip In It

After some super sleuthing (read: waiting to see photos come up), I uncovered the great mystery of where Rachel Bilson was flying on Wednesday -- NY Fashion Week. I'd heard a rumor that she would make an appearance at some of the runway events, but my hope was quickly waning as days and days of coverage passed with nary a Bilson sighting. Yesterday afternoon, however, my prayers were answered in the form of Ms. Bilson front row at the Badgley Mischka show. Rejoice, she's still cute.

Madonna, Mischa and Rachel Back Black Lace At NYFW!

It was another busy day at New York Fashion Week yesterday as celebs made the rounds of runway shows and parties introducing the trends for Spring 2010. Madonna attended Marc Jacobs' show, as did Lady GaGa, who showed up halfway through the event! Mischa Barton plays a model in the upcoming TV show The Beautiful Life and was getting some tips on pouting and posing as she attended more events after her busy weekend at the shows. Her old The OC costar Rachel Bilson was also wearing black lace, attending the Jill Stuart show alongside Nicky Hilton, Amanda Bynes and Leigh Lezark, to name a few. Also spotted around Bryant Park were Katy Perry, Janet Jackson, Emmy Rossum, and Avril Lavigne who showed off her own range of clothing!

Pop A DVD In: Gossip Girl Season One

Sadly, the Olympics are over, so what can you watch on TV now?! Never fear, the first season of Gossip Girl came out on DVD in the UK last week, whetting my appetite for series two (alongside all the photos from last week's premiere party in the US). Looking back on it all, I can't believe they managed to fit so much scandal, intrigue and dastardly Chuck into just 18 episodes (thanks to the WGA strike) – but then I remembered, this is all from those bods behind The OC – a show with a breakneck pace that's hard to explain to a non-viewer. Just watch the first two episodes of the Californian teen drama again and you'll swear that's enough storylines for a season!

But enough about The OC, GG held me captivated with all the glossy goings on in NYC as you can tell from my weekly recaps of the first season as they aired in the UK.

The main highlight for me was watching Chuck go from plain old evil in the first episode to being dastardly with an added bonus of attention-grabbing dress sense by the finale – so much fun. Blair and Serena have outfits you'll lust after, hair you'll hanker for and boys you might want for yourself. Yet you still end up liking them, or at least picking Team Serena or Team Blair in their many disagreements! Decked out in designer wares, Blair is deliciously bitchy, Serena and Dan team up to be a frustrating but nice enough couple, Nate goes from boring and beige to handsome when a little ruffled, and little Jenny shows many shades, from naive to controlling. While they've failed to really get a really likable Sandy and Kirsten Cohen-style parent in the mix, Lily van der Woodsen and Rufus Humphrey are both nice enough, whereas Blair's Mum and Nate's parents are mainly there to cause problems for their teenage offspring.

The music is great too, as you can expect from an awesome supervisor like Alexandra Patsavas, who brings in bands like The Pierces and The Virgins – I can't tell you how many bands this woman has introduced me to via the shows she sources tracks for like The OC and Grey's Anatomy. There's also two haunting music videos from The Pierces amongst the extras on the DVD set.

So what else is featured among the extras? Well, deleted scenes reveal heavier hints at Blair's eating disorder, Rufus has some throwback habits from his rock-star days, there's a hint Jenny might have actually learned something from her moments of madness in the series, and a line when I'm pretty sure Vanessa refers to herself as a hooker.

Featurettes include a look at how GG went from the series of novels to screen, including interviews with the original author Cecily Von Ziegasar, creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, and the actors. We find out that visa issues threatened Ed Westwick's role in the series, and they liked him so much that they moved Chuck from a supporting role to a main member of the cast.

FabUK fans will love the looks at the fashion in "Gossip Girl Couture", there's a closer look at "A Gossip Girl Wedding", a downloadable audio book of the original novel read by Christina Ricci, two music videos and a Gag Reel.

It's a great boxset for any fan of the show – seeing Leighton Meester interviewed makes me love her even more, she's so adorable, and Ed Westwick speaking in his normal British accent is always awesome. It's fun to see their auditions, and also to see how much Penn Badgley swears in the gag reel – wow, does he kiss Blake Lively with that mouth?! I loved the series, and I love the boxset – it's well worth a rewatch if you're a fan, and seeking out if you haven't seen the series yet!

Beauty Byte: Mischa Barton Is Both Stylish and Stunning

Is Micha Barton the next comeback kid? It seemed like she was falling under the radar after her O.C. days, but we've been seeing a lot more of her recently with the launch of her new Alice band collection, handbag range and appearances in Paris for the 2009 spring/summer haute couture fashion shows.

In beauty news, I've just heard that she has been named as the face of Herbal Essences. The delectably smelling hair care company is getting ready to release ten new and improved variants of shampoos, conditioners and masks. If you're wondering what Mischa's favourite is, it's called Hello Hydration! "I’ve been using Hello Hydration with coconut and orchid extracts because my hair’s fine and it can get a bit dry, so the fact that it boosts the moisture in my hair is great for me. I just love it."

When asked if she spends hours in the shower or if she's more a quick dip kind of girl, Mischa replied:

"On a daily basis, I usually have to be pretty quick because I work so much, but I make sure that I enjoy even that short time to myself. Then when I do have more time, I’ll definitely get into a proper bath. I love escaping to a good bath surrounded with candles and lovely scent to make it even more relaxing!"

PopSugar Exclusive Interview with Lauren Conrad

When we caught up with Lauren Conrad, the sunny California starlet was relaxing in her home we all know so well from The Hills. Lauren was friendly and down to earth, which was just what we expected from the everyday girl gone famous who we've watched grow up over the past five years. She stopped mid-sentence to ask Lo what music they've been listening to and walked over to her fridge - around boxes from her basement flooding that morning! - to look in and tell us what was inside. With a hit show, fashion collection, and growing resume, this girl from the small town of Laguna Beach has grown up, landing her at the number 25 spot on the 2008 PopSugar 100. We talked about the highlights of this year and other fun things like fashion, food, fitness, friends, and cute Chloe.

PopSugar: Can you describe some of the highlights of your past year?
Lauren Conrad: I would say the biggest highlight is the launch of my line. I also bought my own house, which was exciting. The show is going really well, that’s nothing new but that’s been kind of exciting.

PS: We just read recently that you thought Laguna Beach was going to be a one-time documentary?
LC: Yeah when they originally asked us to do it it was called the “Unrestricted High School Project” and I thought it was just one episode. They said they were really interested in the fact that we had all grown up together in a small town and we were all really a close-knit group of people, and they wanted to do a small documentary on a group of friends, so that was kind of what we signed up for. It’s funny, you see the little pilots that they showed us initially and it looks nothing like the end of the show.

PS: Wow really? And when did they say, "We are going to make this a full-blown TV series"?
LC: We all signed up to do this little pilot that no one has ever seen except for us - I don’t even know what they did with it. They showed it to us and we were like, "Oh this looks great" and then they said, "It got picked up" so that is when they started shooting and it kind of became what it has and no one really realized what it was until we all got sent the first episode, right before it aired!

PS: What has it been like for the show to have become so successful?
LC: I think I have been pretty lucky that it happened gradually because the mood kind of started out pretty small and then it slowly got bigger, I mean none of us were really expecting it, it was crazy for us then, and since then it slowly escalated, but since it has been slowly it has been kind of nice. It allowed us time to process it.

PS: Was there ever a time when you woke up and were like, "Whoa, this is all happening to me?"
LC: Yeah, I think we had just graduated and the first season had just began airing and I was at a game with a couple of my guy friends and a little girl saw my friend Stephen and pulled out her inhaler. I think it was at that moment - it really freaked me out too, I was like I think we might have signed up for something bigger than we thought!
PS: [Laughs] Did she recover?
LC: Yeah she did she was fine, but I mean it was weird to see someone have that sort of reaction to someone you have known your whole life.

PS: So going back through this past year do you think there are any lessons you have learned or something that you’re going to take away?
LC: I think that in the past year I have really gotten a chance to see who my true friends are and who is going to be there for me, you know, no matter what? Like Lo is one of my best friends from high school, and Audrina obviously has always been there for me, and I think that when it gets to a point when it's almost too much that’s when those people are there for you.

PS: If you could go back to a year ago and tell yourself some advice, what would it be?
LC: It would be that I’m never going to please everybody so I should just give up now [laughs]. I mean you can waste so much energy trying to make everyone happy, but at the end of the day it's impossible to please everyone, so you just need to focus on what makes you happy.

PS: What does sort of a typical day look like for you?
LC: They are all kind of different, this week is crazy because we have a photo shoot every single day. Except Wednesday I am not the model, I’m shooting my resort lookbook and I have to be there all day, so those are actually even longer, it's almost more work when you are not the model - it's like an 11 or 12 hour day. I mean normally we film a few days out of the week and other days we are kind of doing other stuff, just the other things we work on in our lives, we keep pretty busy.

PS: So the interview we talked about with Laguna Beach being a documentary, because of the editing, you also said you are actually a lot happier than the show makes you look? So we are wondering what are the things we are missing out on as viewers that make you happy?
LC: It’s not like the Real World, in that show they put a bunch of people in a house with tons of booze and see what happens. In The Hills, if one of us has too much to drink, they drive us home. So that’s the difference, they don’t want us to get smashed on camera, they don’t want us to be train wreaks, they focus on the parts of our lives that are actually more interesting.

PS: Have you ever come across anyone in all of your nights out that made you really starstruck? Any fun celebrities?
LC: Actually yeah, I met Marc Jacobs when we were filming and I got so nervous when I saw him that I didn’t really know what to do, but I was trying to act cool, but I didn’t even stand up to shake his hand, I actually came off a little bit too cold, like I didn’t really care and I felt kind of bad. I get really starstruck over really random people and designers.

PS: George Clooney or Brad Pitt?
LC: Better with age.
PS: Matt Damon or Ben Affleck?
LC: I don’t know! I like Matt Damon more I think.
PS: Katie Holmes or Victoria Beckham?
LC: Frowns! You don’t see them smile!
PS: Dawson’s Creek, The OC or Gossip Girl?
LC: Gossip Girl! I love it.
PS: Do you prefer bags or shoes?
LC: Oh, shoes!

PS: Are you a Mac girl or a PC girl?
LC: Both actually, mostly PC but I like Mac to edit photos or art

LC: I hate them both! But probably sit-ups

PS: No, I haven’t
LC: It’s really vulgar but a lot of my guy friends were frat guys so I get the humor.
PS: What is your favorite TV show?
LC: Gossip Girl.
PS: What are some of your guilty pleasures TV wise?
LC: I don’t really watch that much TV, but I will wait until whole seasons are over and then download the whole thing on iTunes because I’m really impatient. I just started watching Greek and I used to be obsessed with Grey's Anatomy, but it’s kind of dying for me. I mostly end up watching Sex and the City reruns actually.

PS: Do you ever Google your dates?
LC: Yeah, all of them! But I don’t believe everything I read though. I Google pictures to see ex-girlfriends and stuff [laughs].
PS: Do you have any dating advice?
LC: Probably just have fun with it, I never take dates too seriously. Oh and I don’t kiss on a first date.

PS: What is your favorite cocktail?
LC: Depends where, I have a favorite cocktail at every place.
PS: Do you go with the specialty drinks at every bar?
LC: Yeah, I like to try a lot of different things everywhere we go. I’ll usually order whatever their specialty drink is with vodka, but for an everyday drink I usually just drink vodka and soda water.

PS: If we opened your fridge right now what would we find?
LC: I can actually tell you, I’m just wandering around my house right now. It’s filled with boxes because my basement flooded this morning. There's leftover grilled vegetables, berries, and vitamins… yeah that is pretty much it! We don’t have too much in there because it goes bad. We have berries and such to snack on, but if we are really hungry there are tons of restaurants all around us.

PS: How’s Chloe?
LC: Chloe actually just got back from puppy boot camp because she wasn’t learning anything, but now she is. She still eats everything but she is good!
PS: Do you enjoy having a puppy?
LC: Yeah, she is great. She just eats my shoes. She has eaten a couple pairs literally out of the box too! I never even got to wear them.

PS: What is your favorite perfume?
LC: I have a lot of different perfumes, but I really like Dior Miss Cherie, or Marc Jacobs. I also wear Michael Kors and for everyday I wear Kai, which is a sort of gardenia scent.
PS: Do you have any interest in doing your own perfume?
LC: Not really. I think it’s kind of weird to want to smell like someone, but I don’t know - it could be fun to do like a line of them, not just a personal scent.

PS: Do you ever look back on a hair or makeup style and think, “What was I thinking?”
LC: Most of them, yeah! I used to have bleached blonde hair - Lo and I both - and we burned all of the pictures. They were really bad!
PS: So they won’t end up online?
LC: I think a few of are, but all the personal ones we got rid of.

PS: Do you have any Summer must have items?
LC: Sunscreen. I use a lot less of everything during the Summer - less makeup and almost no hair products. Summer is a little more natural I feel like. I think good bikinis because it's summer!

PS: We've seen you going to the gym a lot lately.
LC: Yeah I started again, its really hurting me!
PS: What is your routine at the gym?
LC: I just started doing more kickboxing which is really fun, and the way [my trainer] does it it's like a full body workout. Like squat, lunge, squat, lunge, or lower punches. It’s really like a full body workout, but I do a half hour of kickboxing and then he has me just do weights. We also do running most days and Chloe likes it.

PS: If you could finish this sentence, “I can’t live without my…..”
LC: I can’t live without my friends.

PS: Do you have the premiere date of The Hills?
LC: Yeah, it’s in August sometime, they haven’t told me. A Monday in mid-August!

PS: Our readers are dying to know what happens this season!
LC: I haven’t seen any of it yet, but I kind of know what happens because I was there [laughs]. There is actually a lot of good stuff coming up which, luckily, has not been reported on. We are making a big effort to hide it - it's kind of weird, we can’t really talk about things that are happening on the show. Normally everyone already knows what happens, but this season most of it has stayed pretty quiet. Obviously some of the stuff has been reported on, but a lot of it is only half the story, so the show kind of clarifies things sometimes.

PS: Are you going to be at New York Fashion Week in September? Working or for fun?
LC: Yeah, right now I am planning on it, but I never know for sure. Kelly [Cutrone] hasn’t told us whether we are working yet or not. I will either have to go out with Kelly or I will just go out to see some of the shows.

Lauren also told us about her fun 4th of July and how busy life has been after returning from her recent break. She sounds happy and excited to have the opportunity to be living out her dreams all while trying to keep her newfound fame in perspective. After talking to the starlet, we're happy to report she still seems like that sweet girl from Laguna Beach High School, but certainly a bit wiser.

Rachel Bilson Is in Another OC Wedding

A sultry Rachel Bilson graces the cover of Page Six Magazine's fashion issue, just in time for the budding fashionista's upcoming launch of Edie Rose. In the interview Rachel reveals she is the maid of honor at OC creator Josh Schwartz's wedding, where she may run into Adam Brody, who recently attended Josh's Vegas bachelor party. While we're not holding our breaths for a Gosling-McAdams style reunion, Bilson talks about all her boys in the interview. Here are highlights:

On Hayden: "I’m happy and that’s all that matters. I have someone really great. Someone who can make me laugh - that’s always what comes first. It’s the best to be able to really, like, truly laugh with someone like they’re your best friend, you know?"
On her sense of style: "I think it’s cool to be on the worst-dressed list. If people aren’t accepting, that’s OK. Bring it on, I don’t care! [. . .] Vintage is [my mom's] love, she has a great eye, which I think I’ve inherited from her."
On her ex, Adam: "They say don’t date your co-star, but that’s who you’re around. If you’re in an office, and you see someone everyday and you click well, you’ll start dating. It’s the same thing."

While Rachel seems to have a habit of falling for her costars, she seems to be spending more time designing than acting these days. We can't wait to see her whole collection soon and hopefully her sitting in a front row or two at NY Fashion Week.

Pop Watch: Gossip Girl, Episode 1 "Pilot"

Finally! Last night the UK premiere of Gossip Girl hit our screens, with a first episode full of sex (well, a lot of almost-sex), drugs and fashionable clothing. It's been a while since I watched this first episode of the show, so seeing it last night was fantastic – I really enjoyed it yet again. The OC creator Josh Schwartz has the gift of making rich American teens so intriguing. All those beautiful people too – seriously, shouldn't there be at least one ugly friend with money? I guess Chuck Bass is ugly on the inside. Anyhow, I can't wait to hear what you thought of last night's debut, but first I'll give you a quick rundown of my thoughts and we can see if we agree.

Now, I knew the soundtrack would be good considering how many artists The OC introduced me to, but still, how great is it? The songs are relatively old now as we're watching the show months after it debuted in the States, but it definitely made me rediscover some songs I loved last year. A bit of JT, and that amazing tune from Peter, Bjorn and John right at the start? Fabulous. Here's some of the songs from last night's episode, I highly recommend The Pierces too.

How did you find the narration? Did Kristen Bell's smug voice annoy you a little? Or do you love having someone describing the ins and outs of the Upper East Side to you? I have to say that sometimes it grates on me a bit, but it's so ingrained in the plot and the name of the show that it's pretty necessary. Also, I have a feeling I'll be signing off many things with "XOXO" in the future...

If you need a little memory jog before commenting, here's what happened:

Blonde, beautiful Serena van der Woodsen is back in Manhattan from boarding school, and the word spreads via the Gossip Girl blog on all kinds of mobile devices. Meanwhile, the less well-off Dan and Jenny Humphries (aka the tiny Cindy Lou Who from The Grinch!) are shipped back from visiting their Mum's house to their Dad in Manhattan. Dan has loved Serena from a distance for a long time. Enter classic brunette Blair Waldorf (Serena's ex-BFF) and her bitchy Mum. And here's her boyfriend Nate – he's good looking in an obvious way, but I think he gets better looking as the series goes on with a more rugged edge and a different haircut.

Then there's Chuck. Oh, evil Chuck... I think it puts it lightly to say he's a 'bad boy' – he's the baddest of boys. With a rather eccentric wardrobe. At this stage of the programme I was thinking most of the characters seem really unlikeable, and you might think the same. But as in most TV shows, you will warm to them, layers will be peeled off and circumstances will arise that make you understand some of them, and their characteristics. Although in the case of Chuck, you'll probably just end up loving to hate him (as well as giggling at what he's wearing...). So there's a party at Blair's house, and Serena makes her entrance. Just as Blair and Nate are stripping down in the bedroom. Nate immediately gets dressed to go out and see her, leaving Blair a little miffed.

How about those parents? Rufus Humphries (Dan's dad) is a slightly-past-it rocker who seemed to have a vaguely successful career, what with being featured in Rolling Stone magazine. Could he be a younger version of Sandy Cohen? If so, Serena's mom Lily (Kelly Rutherford) reminds me of a slightly sterner Kirsten Cohen.

Speaking of family, Dan's little sister Jenny is attempting to weave her way in to the cool circle using her artistic talent to get an invite for the "Kiss On The Lips" party. The power struggle between Blair and Serena outside on the steps made me wonder if these two will ever be friends again. There's so much going on there, and later we found out that Serena hadn't even told Blair she was leaving for boarding school. Poor Blair – a mean Mum and a bad best friend, after all, Nate and Serena slept together at a wedding, leading to Serena's disappearance. And the person no-one would ever want to share their secrets with (except Nate) – Chuck – knows about it.

Chuck and Serena's chat in the bar and the kitchen is so uncomfortable, and really shows how dangerous and manipulative Chuck can be. Meanwhile Nate tells Blair about what happened before Serena went away and it breaks Blair's heart. Chuck tries to use the information he knows to have his way with Serena, so she kicks him in a place guys don't like to be kicked. Rightfully so. And as she's rushing out she bumps into the pining Dan, who pines from a distance a little more.

Nate wants to take a break from Blair, but gets pressure to stay with her from his Dad, who wants to do a business deal with Blair's Mum. What a happy relationship this is going to be. And then comes Dan's unsuspecting 'Knight in Shining Armour' moment, as he became Serena's saviour out of circumstance. Which lead to him finally getting a date with her! Hurrah – something good is happening!

Back in the land of the not-so-happy, Blair and Nate are trying to stay civil in their relationship, but Blair's controlling tendencies (although who can blame her following his confession?) start to grate on Nate. And how about that flirty tension between Dan's dad Rufus and Serena's mum Lily? Interesting.

The party begins and Chuck has his beady eyes on Jenny, "I love freshmen, they're so..." "Fresh?" Oh no. Meanwhile, Dan is adorably charming with Serena and all is going well. Superb! But naive young Jenny actually goes off with Chuck on her own, to the roof. She texts Dan to let him know she's in trouble and Dan rushes to the party with Serena. Her appearance causes quite a stir and multiple mobiles beep and vibrate with this news. Chuck gets very close to committing a crime on the roof, but Dan and Serena burst out there in the nick of time and Chuck gets injured again, this time by Dan. Chuck's obviously a guy very used to getting his way. Ugh. And he vows revenge...

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen spent a low key weekend together in LA. It's no secret that we miss seeing Rachel on screen after The OC, especially since her movie career hasn't taken off yet. On the other hand, the fashionista has her collection for DKNY Jeans coming out soon with an ad campaign starring herself. Rachel is one of our favorites and we want to see her find her passion - do you think Rachel will find success in fashion?

I Want This Wardrobe: The O.C., Season 4

I hope you have been enjoying our O.C. wardrobe tribute posts! Alas, all good things come to an end, as did The O.C. after a mere four seasons. Now I have to admit I totally lost interest after Marissa died in Season 3. Therefore I can't deliver a recap of the final season, but someone in another Sugar pod can! I did tune in a few times, but I just wasn't feeling it anymore. Did you all feel the same way?
