Tech Takes a Backseat in The September Issue
I've been patiently waiting to see The September Issue ever since Fab showed us the trailer back in June, and I finally got the chance to make it to the theater over the weekend.
The documentary follows Vogue's stoic editor Anna Wintour as she prepares for the biggest issue release of the year and chronicles the pressures that follow. Naturally, I was interested in seeing the fashion and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how the magazine runs, but I was hoping for some tech sightings as well.
The September Issue: Lots of Fashion, Lots of Feeling
Now this is a movie about fashion. Not glorifying it, not mocking it, not fictional. If you too consider fashion to be your number one, you will thoroughly enjoy this film.
Behind the Seams: The September Issue, LA Screening
The September Issue opens at a theater near you this Friday — look out for my review earlier that day — but the stars got to see the highly anticipated flick last night. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art was the location and the guest list included Ginnifer Goodwin, Shenae Grimes, Jennifer Morrison, and more. Unlike us, who go to the movies in jeans, these celebs donned the cutest frocks.
Are You Excited to See The September Issue?
The September Issue finally opens in cinemas across the UK this Friday! It feels like we've been waiting forever to see this film which shows the truth behind the most important issue of the year of one of the world's biggest fashion magazines. It also shows a side to Anna Wintour we are rarely allowed to see!

Anna Wintour Holds Her Own On Letterman
ICYMI, Anna Wintour made her debut on The Late Show with David Letterman last night to discuss her documentary, The September Issue, and all things fashion. As expected the Vogue editor held her own in her Carolina Herrera dress as Dave dished out the fashion jokes and references to her ice queen reputation — Anna rebuttled, I'm "Lukewarm Royalty with a Whip from Outer Space." Dave even asked her if she's ever put anyone in a headlock.

Anna Wintour stopped by Letterman last night to talk about The September Issue and the famously ice-y Vogue editor let down her guard a bit for Dave.
