After watching the 3D Monsters vs. Aliens trailer with my man during the Super Bowl — yes we had our glasses on, just like Katie Sugar — I realized that high-tech additions (like 3D glasses) can easily be used to spice up a date. As I try to collect some fun Valentine's Day ideas, I knew I had to take a trip on over to Think Geek and see what they would have in store for me.

OK, OK, I know that the iPhone has its drawbacks. No video capabilities, no camera flash, and certainly no camera zoom. I knew these downsides and decided to dive into the Apple pool anyway.

I just had one of those classic brain-fart moments when you see something and think it's clever and harmless, and then you actually, you know, think about it, and go, "Oh, come on." And with that I bring you this new Slide to Unlock T-shirt from ThinkGeek.
At first I was like, cool!

Here at Sugar HQ we're always looking for novel ways to entertain ourselves, especially the men, who decided it would be "fun" to bring a pair of Laser Tag Shocking Tanks into the office. I don't even think I can find the words to describe this so-called game, which is totally abusive and kinda fun all at the same time. .

My BSG obsession has hit an all time high now that I've not only re-watched the third season, but have also seen the ten webisodes (did you know about these!?) and checked out the movie Battlestar Galactica: Razor (spoilers if you haven't seen all three seasons!). So it would be fitting that I scoop up one of these BSG Propaganda Posters ($30) just in time for the season four premiere this Friday. Thanks to Petty Officer Calamari for bringing these to my attention, I'll be prepared and my apartment will be fully dressed for the BSG party I'm planning on April 4.

There is no way I could look myself in the mirror if I put on one of these T-shirts. But for die-hard geek love, is there any better way to say I love you? When you buy a pair of these shirts, each one of the hearts lights up when two dorky lovebirds are in close proximity to one another.

Okay, honestly, these panties from Think Geek that say "I'm blogging this" did get a huge grin from me.
That's not to say I'd wear them — geeky underwear kind of gives me the willies. However, I almost need those blogging underwear, at the very least to give as a gag gift to a fellow blogger.

The Hidden Camera Detector from ThinkGeek appeals to the worst part of me — the paranoid, it could-happen-to-me part. I have seen way too many Dateline NBC exposing those with hidden cameras in ladies' bathrooms, workplaces, and even inside your own apartment! See, there it is!

There is a new soap called, Shower Shock ($6.99/bar) that claims it could, if you let it, take the place of your morning brew.
Shower Shock (quite the name, eh?) is an all vegetable based glycerine soap which does not contain any harsh ingredients like ethanol, diethanolamine, polyethylene glycol or cocyl isethionate. So it's gentle but it's also scented with peppermint oil and infused with caffeine anhydrous.

There's a new gadget trend in town, and love it or not, it's hit the geek circuit with a bang. Geeky product connoisseur Thinkgeek has unveiled the Hip Holster and Shoulder Holster, which seem to combine the needs of James Bond, Han Solo and Dwight Schrute into two very geeky cases. "As a world-renowned super-spy, you've got a pile of gadgets at your disposal, but you've also got to keep your secret identity a secret," says Thinkgeek.
