Beach loving princesses will swoon over The Mermaid's Palace seashell tiaras. Using authentic seashells, pearl beads, rhinestones, and other pieces, artist Kari Jeanne Lobdell adorns fabric wrapped metal tiara bands so they can be molded to fit any sized noggin.

If I were styling a flower girl for a beach wedding, I'd pick out one of these gems for the special occasion. Prices on the decorative accessories run between $35 - $150. Tiny tots will be drawn to the magical pieces but they are probably best suited for older girls as they are crafted with small parts.

Toddlers & Tiaras: Mom Pits Sterling Twins Against Each Other

It's one thing to spray tan and coif a disinterested child onto the stage, but it's another to pit twin sisters against each other. After most lilsugar readers said they found the premise of kid beauty pageants creepy, I decided to watch the second season opener of Toddlers & Tiaras last night. While I expected the stage moms, showgirl costumes, hairpieces and veneers that were all too common in past episodes, this show spot lit a relationship that was hard to watch. Mother of five contestants, Jamie Sterling, has her six-year-old fraternal daughters - BreAnne and AshLynn - and clearly favors the former. After saying that BreAnne is the prettiest child and takes after her mama, Jamie spent most of her time focusing on the lil talent. Meanwhile, AshLynn was told her sister was getting a new dress and that she'd have to wear a ripped one.

It was heartbreaking to see the sweet child try her hardest despite her mother's disinterest while BreAnne was given special treatment. Though when BreAnne's behavior turned toward that of a spoiled brat, her father (who is uncomfortable with the whole situation) stepped in much to his wife's chagrin and pulled her from the pageant. In her sister's absence and a fitting end, AshLynn won both third runner-up and the director's choice titles. A clip of BreAnne bragging that she was the real winner aired after the program. Toddler Pageants: Enchanting or Creepy?

Time to bust out the candy and popcorn... or is it? Toddlers and Tiaras is back for season two on TLC. While 43 percent said you would tune into the show's first season, how many of you will return for round two? Child beauty pageants are like a train wreck - it's near impossible to tear one's eyes away from the mama drama. One might be hard pressed to believe these competitions and lifestyles still exist in today's world, but thanks to reality television, viewers can sit back and soak up the painful hairdos, masked makeup, and helicopter moms. Elton's Friends Dress to Impress

Elton John held his annual charity White Tie & Tiara Ball last night and a whole host of celebrities showed up to make it a starry night! Elton's old friend Liz Hurley was caught outside her house dressed in her tiara and gown, and we spotted lots more people making their way to his Berkshire home by car. Davina McCall and Susannah Constantine were driven in together, and Agyness Deyn sat in the back of her car with new rocker beau Albert Hammond Jr. Kelly Osbourne attended with blonde boyf Luke Worrell and Graham Norton's sequinned lapels shone almost as much as his teeth as he was driven past the waiting photographers.

Other celebs included Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, Michael Caine, Louis Walsh, David Coulthard, Kian Egan, Joely Richardson and Anthea Turner. To check out many other pics, just read more

Would You Wear a Tiara?

Fergie performed in Atlantic City last night, and part of her stage getup included a sparkly tiara. Seems like the only people who pull these off are princesses and brides, but with New Year's Eve just a day away, I'm wondering if this might be one other time when tiaras work. Would you wear one in your hair, or is it too costumey?

Have You Tuned In to Toddlers & Tiaras?

Every week I turn to TLC for my Jon and Kate Plus 8 fix, but after a recommendation from BellaSugar I dedicated an evening to Toddlers & Tiaras. The documentary series follows different families on the quest for beauty pageant crowns and glory and sheds some bright lights on the realities of pageant life: rigorous training, painful hair and beauty regimens, and plenty of positive affirmations. It's sort of a modern day, reality TV influenced Living Dolls. While BellaSugar was shocked to see a 7-year-old be fitted for fake teeth and a little girl sob as she gets her first spray tan, I was more aghast by the parents' expectations and outlandish remarks. You can watch the series in parts on YouTube or tune in on Tuesdays at 10 p.m.

Toddlers and Tiaras Shows You a World of Little-Girl Beauty Pageantry

There was a good amount of discussion when I asked for your thoughts on beauty pageants. Most of you find them outdated, dippy, or sexist, but a few readers piped up to show support for them. No matter what you think about pageantry, you'll probably be fascinated by Toddlers and Tiaras, a documentary series debuting tonight on TLC.

The show follows a handful of young girls as they prepare for and compete in beauty pageants, and it is in-sane. Dads seem out of the picture, and the moms are pushy - no surprise there, but there's plenty to surprise. It's bizarre to see a 7-year-old be fitted for fake teeth, for instance, or to watch a terrified, spindly-legged girl sob as she gets her first spray tan. There's more random goodness, too: A lesbian couple turns pageant stereotypes on their heads (Heather has two stage moms!) and one girl confesses that her love of farm animals drives her to compete. Toddlers and Tiaras: Tootie/Madison Split Personalities

What mother would encourage her kid to have split personalities? Stacy Berg. The pageant mom err, self-proclaimed assistant and slave to her 10-year-old explained (with a straight face) that the girl is Madison at church and school and Tootie when it's time to impress the judges. The seemingly down-to-earth Madison plays soccer and enjoys the outdoors. Then, she takes on a sassy and demanding attitude as Tootie prepping for the glitz and glam of taking to the stage. When the child compared her two personalities, she said Tootie would never play soccer, but Madison would win a race since Tootie would "wear high heels." While I was aghast over last week's episode, this one left me speechless.

Justin and Chace Go Black Tie For Elton John's White Ball

British and American stars headed to Elton John's home in the English countryside last night for his annual White Tie and Tiara Ball. Kate Beckinsale posed for photos with a very tan and blond Lily Allen, while their fellow Brit Hugh Dancy brought along his fiance Claire Danes. Chace Crawford took a break from exploring London to attend the bash, mingling with Elton and David Furnish. Justin Timberlake serenaded the crowd, though the fun times quickly turned somber when the guests received news of Michael Jackson's death. JT was one of the many stars to express his condolences over Michael's passing as everyone tries to absorb the loss of the extraordinary entertainer.
