We all loved how Famke Janssen styled her black and pink silk Thread Social dress with a studded clutch and black heels to the premiere of her latest movie Turn the River. But how do you feel about Tinsley Mortimer in the same fetching frock? She was spotted on location for Gossip Girl in Long Island wearing the ivory version accessorizing with silver heels and a matching clutch. I like the dark and light opposition but which look do you prefer?

It looks like the v-neck tiered trapeze dress is starting to be a big trend for the Summer. Sarah Michelle Gellar has already been spotted prancing around NYC in a similar Tart version, and even Juicy Couture has come out with one. This Ella Moss Cheryl Dress, $163, or a similar version, should be on your must-have list. The ruching at each tier makes it so fun and girly. But I'm not so sure a jersey dress is worth $163.

Isn't this Forever 21 Tiered Jersey Dress, $25, practically identical? It even has four tiers like the one above. No one will ever know it's not Ella Moss if you don't tell them! And it's definitely worth paying $25 for a Summer dress.

Manoush Multicolored Tiered Dress: Love It or Hate It?

Am I looking at a dress or a piñata? No disrespect to Manoush because I normally like her designs, but this Manoush Multicolored Tiered Dress ($480) should have never left the showroom. That amount of tiers wouldn't even look good on a stick-skinny model. Maybe, just maybe if it were all one color it would be better, but the colorblock makes it silly. Am I being way harsh?

Who Wore It Better? Burberry Metallic Tiered Dress

I just expressed how stunning Amy Smart looked in this Burberry metallic tiered dress she wore to the reopening party for Burberry Beverly Hills. Another actress, Rose Byrne, also recently wore the dress to a red carpet gala in NYC. Ooh, competition! While Amy opted for the brand's thistle bangle and T-strap sandals with metal stud heel, Rose wore simple black pumps and the Swarovski jeweled necklace we saw all over Burberry's Fall runway. Both ladies do justice to the dress, but who wore it better?

Who Wore It Better? Beaded, Tiered Valentino Dress

With such a gorgeously feminine dress, it's no surprise that two svelte beauties fell in love with it. Keira Knightley first wore Valentino's beaded, tiered dress to the BAFTA awards back in February. She decided against any jewels or accessories, making the dress the center of attention. Russian model Natalia Vodianova stepped out in the same dress at the amFAR event at Cannes Film Festival. She accessorized with a matching champagne clutch and dangly earrings. There's no denying that florals have taken over the world of fashion this Summer and will continue to reign through the winter. Tiers and ruffles too have gradually encroached on our wardrobe. However, you can have too much of a good thing. When ruffles met florals for this dress, there was a risk that it could be over powering but these girls took on the challenge. Heidi Range was spotted in her dress at the Isle of Wight festival back in June and she teamed it with a cute pink bolero. Nikki was spotted in hers yesterday and wore it alone.
