Katie and Suri Get Cozy While Tom Pulls a Few Stunts

Tom Cruise waved to fans while performing a series of rooftop stunts in Austria Monday night. As Tom and Cameron Diaz continue filming Knight & Day overseas Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise are keeping busy on and around the set of The Romantics. Suri didn't show off her limbo skills this time but she did cuddle up with Katie in her familiar snuggly blanket. The Cruise-Holmes girls have been spending lots of time exploring NY recently so perhaps we'll get to see what fun and expressive activities they get up to over the holiday weekend.

Nicole Kidman's Candid About Sexual Fetish and Tom Cruise

Nicole Kidman has given a frank interview to British GQ for their December issue, and posed in lingerie for the accompanying photo shoot. While yesterday's rumours about her teaming up with Robert Pattinson for Bel Ami have been quickly denied, Nicole did tell the magazine about her relationships with other men. She reveals her penchant for sexual fetish, opens up about Tom Cruise, and speaks about the challenges of marriage. Here are the highlights:

On Tom Cruise: "I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody. I did a lot of good, worthwhile work in Australia between the ages of 14 and 19 and then I married someone famous... I know my agents at the time were like, 'Do not get married! It will ruin your career!' And I was like, 'But I’m in love!' All I know is that I wasn’t someone interested in fame. And that’s not why I got married."
On her explorations in love and sex: "My life has been about exploring types of love. I’ve explored obsession, I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy. But I’m still on that journey."
On Keith Urban's problems with drugs and alcohol: "I don’t talk about that. That’s the sanctity of our marriage. Our relationship is pretty much off bounds and we really don’t discuss it except to say we’re very together. And you know, you work on it. It’s a very adventurous, extraordinary place to be: incredibly raw, incredibly dangerous and you’re very much out at sea. You’re exposed. You could drown. When you commit to someone like that you live and die together by that decision."

On the state of her relationship with Tom during Eyes Wide Shut: "[W]e were pretty happily married throughout that period. People will always watch the movie in hindsight and go, ‘Oh no, that must be where it all went wrong.’ I don’t want to say whether anything is or isn’t true any more. Listen, people can mythologise and think what they want, and that’s where it begins and ends for me. The rest of it is information. Some of it is isinformation. And some of it isn’t. I don’t care now at this stage in my life to refute rumours, or confirm them... We’ll see where it takes me and where it ends up but, right now, I quite like that abandoned feeling."
On refusing to talk about Tom and Scientology: "I want to honour that marriage for what it was, and there is nothing I would go into about that. I have never discussed the intricacies of it and I never will."
On filming Nine after giving birth to Sunday: "I'd just given birth, so i was like, 'OK, I'm [still] a woman – I want to do this film! And I do have a life other than simply feeding this baby.' I think when you give birth you get itchy to get back to work and you want to feel life still goes on."
On what she wants from her career: "I make films that aren’t everybody’s cup of tea, I realise that. I get it. But that’s where i am. if I were a painter I certainly wouldn’t be painting for the masses. And I’m unwavering on this. I want to take risks. I want excitement, danger and uncertainty."
On not choosing the safe option: "I have a career where I have had to weather the storms. It’s become second nature to me. I’m used to my roles and the movies I’m in being criticised. I seek it out. In my life i do not seek out a safe place. I like existing in an uncomfortable place artistically. People can believe this or not, but in the end I hope my life will be a mix of extreme love and bold artistic choices. I’ve never wanted to be safe. I’ve never chosen safe relationships. And I’ve never chosen safe films. I would have had a much easier life if I did."

Katie Gets Romantic on the Big Screen and Real Life

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes focused on their fitness Saturday with a couples' run in Boston. The duo worked up a sweat before settling in for a candy-filled Halloween with Suri, who got a head start on the celebrations by showing off her costume last week - check out what lots of other celebrities were up to on the holiday! Katie was freshened up by Sunday afternoon, when she headed to Tom's set of Knight and Day with a few bagfuls of sandwiches for the cast and crew. Tom stopped to give Katie a kiss and hug after her sweet gesture. The pair has another reason to look so happy, as she just picked up a role in the independent comedy The Romantics alongside Anna Paquin and Adam Brody that starts filming this week in NYC.

Tom Works Night and Day While Suri Shops With Katie

Katie Holmes left Long Island, where she had been working on The Romantics and headed into NYC for a weekend with Suri. The girls were out to see The Lion King on Friday night, with little Suri looking sleepy as they left the theater together. Saturday they bundled up in coats for a few long walks with Katie's mom, and Suri showed off her red dress from the children's Holmes and Yang and green backpack. Isabella Cruise joined them yesterday for a trip to the ballet, when Suri broke out a pair of bright rain boots despite the sunny day.

Tom, meanwhile, is still in Austria filming Knight and Day. His Friday night was a late one, as he took to a roof to film a dramatic looking action scene with Cameron Diaz. They continued on into Saturday with their work, though Cameron took the evening off to attend a Mozart recital at a local church with their costar Paul Dano.

Tom Makes a Romantic Gesture on His Anniversary With Katie

After spending a few days in Boston with Suri, Tom Cruise made the trip down to Long Island to see Katie Holmes yesterday on their third wedding anniversary. We celebrated their special day with a look back at their years together, but he was a little more active jogging near her set of The Romantics. Katie, meanwhile, was showing off her own toned legs for another day of shooting before stepping out for coffees this morning. Tom and Katie are known to share a love for couples exercise sessions, but it looks like they'll have to wait a little bit until they're together again - he arrived in Austria this morning to continue work on Knight and Day.

Katie Holmes and Suri took a break from exploring Beantown together to stop by and pay dad Tom a visit. The whole Holmes-Cruise clan has had lots of time to bond during their time on the East Coast, as they keep getting used to their routine in a new city.

Tom Gets a Crash Course in Law From Friends at Harvard

Instead of performing stunts on the set of Wichita yesterday, Tom Cruse made a surprise appearance on the campus of Harvard University. The actor shocked an auditorium full of unsuspecting students by dropping into a lecture being given by his personal lawyer Bertram Fields. Cruise arrived to the two hour class fashionably late but earned extra credit points by staying an hour afterward to chat and snap a few photos with the crowd of students who gathered as the news spread around campus. Tom joked about playing a Harvard grad a few times in his career and interjected personal anecdotes throughout the lecture, joking around with his longtime lawyer and giving HLS students the celebrity sighting of a lifetime.

Tom Cruise Jets Between Detroit, Boston, and Wichita

Tom Cruise took a break from filming Wichita over the weekend and headed to Detroit to watch the Lions finally end their 19 game losing streak yesterday afternoon. His son Connor went along for the fun, checking out the football action as Tom mingled with fellow fans and signed autographs. Their family spent most of last week out and about in Boston, though Katie took off for LA by Friday in order to launch her Holmes & Yang line at Maxfield. After his short break, Tom was back to work this morning in Massachusetts alongside Cameron Diaz.

Cameron and The Cruises Enjoy Wichita in Boston

Cameron Diaz chatted with a few crew members yesterday near her trailer on the Boston set of Wichita, but she was joined on set this afternoon by costar Tom Cruise and his family. Suri left her high heels at home as she took a behind-the-scenes tour with mom Katie Holmes. Cameron and Tom haven't worked together since Vanilla Sky in 2001, but they already seem to be falling back into their old friendship - at least judging by their chummy appearance on the Jay Leno Show last week.
