What happens when Suri is living her quiet life while Tom & Katie are out? Does Suri have a special scientology nanny or something?

You know, one of my ex-boyfriends said that L.Ron Hubbard made up scientology as kind of a dare. Like he and some friends were talking about religion and he said he could create his own religion and get people to follow it... so he wrote the Dianetics book and all that. I dunno if any of it is true, but I've never taken scientology seriously since I heard that. I just hope Katie and Suri are okay.

I hope they are too. From what I've seen of Scientology, it's not good.

Im defiantaly a big hater of Scientology, because my cousin lost everything to them, but its probably better to keep all babies quiet and away from situations where the parents become stressed, as they would with the paps.

if this is true, at least he gives a damn about his daughter and is honestly doing what he thinks is best for her. If this is true i like him a bit more. its not his fault that he's been brainwashed.

i think it is all just to create a bigger price tag for her baby pics when the day does come that he decides that he will reveal her to the world. he didn't get a big enough offer on his first go round so he decided to hold off to raise the ante since he saw that brad and angelina got their big bucks for shiloh photos.

the thing is though that all these people are victims of a cult, just as much as the people in Waco, Texas, or Jonestown. he has no say in his life any more. the high up Scientologists are completely in control.

When is the last time that we've seen pictures of Katie or Kate, whatever she's going by these days? I remember reading that she was suffering from Postpartum Depression after giving birth (just like Brooke Shields who Tom criticized so heavily on the Today Show) and Tom sent Brooke some sort of apology gift or whatever. I've always loved Tom Cruise because I think he is a great actor, but the more I read about him and this Scientology nonsense I can't even bring myself to watch his movies any longer. Since his crazed antics on Oprah my opinion of him has taken a nosedive ♥

All this silence surronding the baby, the poor kid will think shes deaf and this is how the world is, no noise! All this scientology is load od BS, humans have lived for so many years without scientology and we're all fine! whatever

i wonder if tommy knows that all we need is to see one pic of a happy healthy suri and katie and all this will be over with. why cant they just go 2 scientology church on sundays? wouldnt that be easier?

For Scientology sake can we please not hear anymore about this cult and using it as an excuse as to why we have not seen Suri...the real reason is because Tom has not found a use for her yet in order to gain maximum publicity for himself....and also because the baby is really Chris Klien's as I have been saying for months now and until the baby stops looking like Klien we will not see this kid. Mystery solved.

I'm worried about Katie and Suri

I know it's been said already, but you know he is just loving all of this - everyone going crazy speculating, the clocks showing how long it's been - so if this is the real reason we haven't seen her I can just see him smiling even toothier because it's an absolutely perfect plan. Because now there's a reason we won't see her and then when we finally do see her, he just knows it's going to be an even bigger deal.

And like someone said - every single baby is exposed to noise and is fine. Some parents go overboard protecting their kids but then the kids end up being nervous wrecks. I'm a teacher, I've seen it too many times. Just live your life and take things as they come, let the kid experience life!

You know, when the baby's in utero, its NOISY. Ever listened to a doppler monitor? There's the heart beat, there's whooshing, there's mommy talking and other people talking. I would think it would FREAK. A. KID. OUT. to come from that loud environment into total silence.

Just a quick observation. If this is true then why did Tom want to be paid more money than Angelina for pics? I dont think this has anything to do with scientology. It may be that Suri may have a physical deformaty (sp?) which i hope not, or the baby may not look like Tom (makes you wonder).

They going to make that poor baby afraid of strangers by not allowing her to see anyone but her parents and the hired help. It's so freaky to me- You'd think they would go shopping or be seen walking in a park, nothing. Odd. Tom Cruise used to be so well liked and he seemed so normal and what happen ?? Ok, so he obviously didn't do this with his first two kids and he was a wacky, psycho scientologist then also. Those kids are perfectly lovely. Maybe it has something to do with Nicole Kidman actually having a brain and Katie (NOT KATE) having nothing other than a uterus because that girl surely (rhymes with surli) not having a brain in her head.

I don't know what's going with this kid. I give up. What I do want to know is why they're using the excuse for her birth certificate being filed late is that they couldn't get the signature from the parents. Hello, weren't they there for the birth? I signed both my kids' certs in the hospital right after I had them. Everybody questions where the cert is, then it pops up, but it's filed way later than it should have been. It's all screwy, and the whole family's nuts, whether that be due to Scientology or they just are. Frankly, I'm a little sick of reading about them. He isn't going to show that kid anytime soon, I think we all know that much.

Cruise didn't show his first two kids until after two years ... He is super private and I do believe that has something to do with it. But at the same time, I do believe there is deep issues why we haven't seen Katie and the baby strolling in the park, at the mall, in a Malibu ocean ... Something is going on and perhaps soon it may just explode and hit every front page tabloid as well as paper ... Like a timebomb waiting to go off that is the story of Tom Cruise.

I don't think you are crazy at all, but unless you plan on locking yourself in a house and pulling down the shades, it's pretty challenging to just hide away ... I mean even Matt Damon didn't want his daughter photographed, but they just caught them strolling together in NYC. You would have to hide away from the world to escape a picture or two. Personally, I don't Katie is all that happy, it's more of a "What did I do" at this point. And, I can't see her as a hands-on-mom. She is so young and she went into the relationship all starry-eyed like a teenager in love for the first time. She got exactly what she deserved ...

No, Ann_Fancy...you're definately not crazy. You make a good point, one that would be very valid were we not dealing with the publicity hound himself, Tom Cruise. Even when he adopted his 2 kids with Nicole I remember a picture of Nicole holding Connor and he still had diapers on. Every mother needs to get out once in a while for a stroll but Katie has not been photographed once. Sure there would be photographers around but the baby could be covered. It's like Katie and Suri have vanished into thin air.

No ann_fancy you are not the only one...I think I keep her to myself for awhile too. She's has a whole life of being harrassed ahead of her.

I am not in any way defending the tomster though! lol But not pimping your baby is not something I will condemn him for, there's lots of other things.

LOL, Shiloh. I think Child Protective Services should stop hovering at Britney's door and pay Tom and Katie a visit. Not only is he depriving his adopted kids of a normal life, but now the natural kid too. A baby needs noise or how else will they learn to deal with the world. I don't know of any all quiet places left in the United States.

The only time we've seen Katie is on Tom-sanctioned outings to his kid's soccer games.

If everyone has to be quiet around her, how is she supposed to learn to speak?
