Love It or Hate It? Topshop's Sequined Top Hat Clip
The holidays are all about amping it up, trying looks that aren't part of your everyday routine, and sequins, of course. Recently, while perusing holiday hair accessories, I came across this Sequin Top Hat Clip ($18) from Topshop. It has pearls.

The Blind Side: An Unexpected Delight
It's not that the trailer for The Blind Side isn't compelling; the problem is that it combines Sandra Bullock's twangiest, most-over-the top lines with a heartrending song, which makes it seem schlocky. That's exactly what I expected from the movie, but I have to admit that I was wrong — to my surprise, I found it to be a sentimental gem that's actually quite restrained.
The Blind Side is the true story (based on Michael Lewis's book) of NFL player Michael Oher, who grew up in Memphis's projects with his drug-addicted mother and landed in and out of foster homes.

Wowza! I've been checking out the photos from the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that took place in New York City last night and they are smoking h-o-t! The Angels are scantily clad in custom lingerie, dripping in accessories and have added five or so inch heels to their already lengthy legs.

Love It or Hate It? Rihanna's Fuchsia Eyeliner
Normally it's Rihanna's hair style and hair color that changes with great frequency, but last night in London, at the launch of her new album, Rated R, it was all about the eyes. Wearing a bright, cool-toned fuchsia eyeliner on her bottom lash lines, she topped off the look with a contrasting warm gold shadow on the lids and feathery falsies on the top lashes.
