Britney Spears Has Muscular Men to Help Film a Video For "3"

Britney Spears was in black lace and spandex last week to film the video for her song "3." The first single off her upcoming album has most of you wanting to hit the dance floor, and it's also earned Britney another spot at the top of the Billboard 100 - she's actually the first artist in three years to have a single enter the chart at number one. We'll soon get to see the results of Brit's hard work on the set, and she even took to Twitter to say she can't wait until her fans can view the results. Britney's been spending lots of time at the dance studio when she isn't out with her guy Jason Trawick, so her legendary moves are sure to be in tip-top shape.

Zac Efron is on the cover of May's GQ as he continues to get out there and promote 17 Again before its release this weekend. Fresh off hosting SNL, Zac is continuing in his quest to transition from teen idol to serious actor. He sat down with the magazine to discuss mature topics like meeting Hollywood A-listers, marriage, and what he was like as a kid - all while using some colorful language. Here's more:

On doing theater in high school: "It was the worst possible thing you could do in high school. Kids who are in musical theater tend to be self-confident in a quirky kind of way, and when kids who are really self-conscious see somebody doing that kind of thing, they try to bring them down. I used to do random things, man. When I was a kid? I dyed my hair silver, to look like Sisqó in the 'Thong Song' video. I just didn’t give a f*ck. I didn’t care."
On keeping his reputation clean: "I wasn’t programmed by Disney. It’s common sense. If you’re gonna be drunk with your friends, don’t get wasted at the Chateau Marmont and hook up with some famous chick. It’s not rocket science . . . I don’t want to be famous for my personality. If anything, I keep that under wraps."
On marriage: "That was such bullsh*t. I’m definitely not getting married. In this business, you’re either getting married or they want you to be pregnant. I’m not getting married until I’m 40. If ever. The thought never crossed my mind . . . Maybe not 40. Maybe not until I’m 30."

On meeting Sean Penn: "He was, uh, not in top form. Or maybe he was in top form. He was in rare form. Anyway - he told me to go skydiving. That’s all. Just-'Go skydiving.'"
On his lunch date with Leo: "I thought I was gonna ask him questions. He ended up asking me questions, and in that, he told me a lot. He said, 'There's one way that you can really f*ck this all up. Just do heroin. If you steer clear of that-the other obstacles you’ll be able to navigate.' And that makes sense, dude."
On his parents: "They’re both pessimists. They’ll give it to you real. They don’t blow you up with excess confidence. I didn’t grow up thinking I was the greatest kid in the world. And they completely believed that there was a one-in-a-billion chance I would ever be successful. And that was ingrained in the back of my head: I will fail. I’m going to fail. They managed my expectations. I was always prepared to fail. So it was kind of confusing when things started to work out."

American Idol Gets Disco Fever

Last night it was time for disco on American Idol, and thankfully the final seven managed to mix it up a bit and find their own way to take on the genre - phew. Lil Rounds kicked off the evening with a lackluster "I'm Every Woman," and the judges are so over her they barely even commented other than to say it was another disappointment. Kris Allen went next and was able to kick the energy up a notch with "She Works Hard For the Money," which got pretty great reviews across the board. Paula managed to confuse everyone, Simon especially, by saying that Kris "shopped in the women's section." Despite Paula's rambling, Simon managed to say that he loved it. Kris is getting stronger by the week, and hopefully this means we'll see him get closer to the top.

Up third was Danny Gokey, who might have a loyal following and perfect pitch but still seemed a little cheesy belting out "September." It was a wonder Allison Iraheta didn't fall over in those sky-high heels, and despite some of the judges not loving her arrangement of "Hot Stuff," Simon called it brilliant.

Adam is ever the strategist and, after last week's big performance, toned it back a little bit to impress the judges with his take on "If I Can't Have You" from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. As usual, his vocal range impressed the judges, who sometimes seem like they're ready to give him the title right then and there, before thanking the man who helped him come up with such an inspired arrangement. Matt Giraud chose an apt song after being saved last week - "Stayin' Alive." He did his best JT impression, though it wasn't enough to wow all the judges. The final singer for the night was Anoop Desai with "Dim All The Lights." He looked great in his suit with pink tie and sweater, but in general the performance was blah. As for the bottom three? I'm thinking Lil Rounds, Anoop Desai, and Mat Giraud again. Going home: Lil and Anoop.

Idol Gets Messy, Melodic and Mustached For Motown Week

The Idols took on Motown last night, which meant a trip to Detroit for the top ten before working with Smokey Robinson on their songs for the week. Matt Giraud kicked off the night perfectly - he was as Justin Timberlake-esque as ever going all out with his awesome rendition of "Let's Get It On" - and it was no surprise that the judges loved it. He was followed up by Kris Allen who made a great choice with "How Sweet It Is" to go with his cute smile and demeanor. Between mostly forgettable Scott MacIntyre and Megan Joy, the judges got a little silly when Paula gave Simon a coloring book and "crowns" (as Simon pronounced crayons). Later in the night, Simon drew a mustache on Paula's face.

After the humor interlude were a few more blah performances from Anoop who sounded good singing "Baby Baby" but as Simon pointed out looked like he might fall asleep, Michael Sarver whose "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" had Simon begging it would end, and Lil Rounds whose "Heat Wave" just didn't heat up. The final three performances were from some of the fan favorites - Adam Lambert was part Elvis part Jonas Brother for his rendition of "Tracks of My Tears," which Simon deemed the best performance of the night. Danny Gokey faltered for the first time this season with "Get Ready Here I Come," which didn't get raves from the judges. Allison finished up the night with a strong "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" proving herself the strongest female left in the competition. As for the bottom three, our guesses are Michael Sarver, Megan Joy and Scott MacIntyre, but we think it's time to say bye-bye to Oil Rig Sarver. Sugar Bits - Jonas Armstrong and Sammy Winward Split

Robin Hood's Jonas Armstrong has reportedly broken up with Emmerdale's Sammy Winward. The met at a TV awards ceremony in May 2007 but have told friends the relationship is over because of conflicting work schedules. - Mirror
Shilpa Shetty is in discussions about possible roles on British TV screens, her publicist Max Clifford has confirmed. There are also rumours she will star on Eastenders. Shilpa has bought a house in Surrey and wants to spend more time in the UK. - PA
Jamie Oliver will cook for the G20 leaders, including Barack Obama and Gordon Brown, at 10 Downing Street on Wednesday; the day his wife is expected to give birth. He has asked to be informed if she goes into labour. - MSN
Simon Cowell has spoken about his instant bond with Cheryl Cole, saying they hang out together in The X Factor dressing rooms. He said that Dannii Minogue "likes to keep more to herself" but insists that he thinks she does a good job. - The Sun
Lady GaGa has held on to the top spot of the singles chart for a second week with "Poker Face". The Noisettes' "Don't Upset The Rhythm" debuted at number two. Ronan Keating is still number one in the albums chart with Songs For My Mother. - PA

A Glamourous Katie Holmes Is Not Pregnant

Katie Holmes posed for a naughty and nice photo shoot in the 70th anniversary April issue of Glamour magazine. She opens up about Tom Cruise, Suri, and how she deals with all of the media attention. She also denied any pregnancy rumors, and seems very happy with her cozy family. Here are some highlights:

On being a mom: "Well, becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience-in an instant you become strong. You have to be a little bit wiser; it’s the most important job in the world. Of course [the responsibility scared me.] During the first couple of days [with Suri], we would just sleep right next to her to make sure she was breathing. And I was constantly learning on the job, but Tom was very helpful and supportive."
On press about Suri: "Some of the stuff [people said] was such absolutely horrible things to say about a child. It was so uncalled for and so disgusting. Enough is enough. Yes, [Tom told me not to worry]. We were changing diapers. He said, 'I don’t want you to get upset.' And I said, 'Well, I am upset.' So we approached it together. But I definitely felt like-as a woman, as the mother of Suri-I want to handle this! My mom is very strong, and if anyone ever said anything about any of us, she would be, 'Excuse me? That’s my family!'"
On their typical family life: "We’re all together. We like to be together, so we use the house for our [business] meetings. [We] play Yahtzee, board games, Scrabble. We grill; have pool parties. We play 'The Three Little Pigs' and Suri is the Big Bad Wolf. [Tom] reads storybooks to Suri, and we all laugh. When a good song comes on, he’ll break out in a dance. We’ll watch movies in bed-recently Madagascar and Cinderella, for Suri. We really have a good time."

On what Tom is really like: "He loves women; he was raised with sisters. He’s strong and intelligent and very, very funny. For my thirtieth birthday he couldn’t be in New York [where she was doing her play]. So he organized the whole audience at that show to sing “Happy Birthday” to me, and then he had a cake rolled out on the stage. But he’s not a dreamer-he just does it. He’ll say, “I think I like that movie,” and the next day, “I’m going to make that movie!”
On always knowing she would marry Tom: "When Top Gun came out, my sisters were like, 'Oh, my God, Top Gun! Tom Cruise!' And I very confidently said, 'I’m going to marry him one day.' It wasn’t like, How do I get to Tom Cruise? It was just: I think I’m going to marry him. Why not? He’ll like me. I’m fun."
On her work: "I want to do it all. Bad girl, good girl, complicated girl. Aren’t we all complicated? And I like all different genres: comedies, dramas, action, musicals. I’m taking jazz and ballet lessons."

Katie seems confident in her relationships and happy with her family life and we can't complain either since we love seeing her out with Tom and adorable little Suri.
