BAFTA TV and TV Craft Nominees Enjoy a Knees Up

Nominees for the BAFTA Television Awards and BAFTA Television Craft Awards gathered at London's Landmark Hotel yesterday for a celebratory reception. Hosts for each of the up-coming ceremonies Graham Norton (TV Awards) and Claudia Winkleman (TV Craft Awards) looked like they were having a great time together, and even matched in their all-black outfits. Some of the Skins cast were also at the reception, celebrating the show's five Television Craft Awards nominations and Best Drama Series nomination at the Television Awards. Fingers crossed guys!

The winners of the BAFTA Television Awards will be announced at the Palladium on Sunday 20 April, while the BAFTA Television Craft Awards winners will be announced at the Dorchester Hotel ceremony on Sunday 11 May.

2008 National Television Awards: Roxanne McKee

The actress revealed to Sara Cox this evening that she is to leave the soap at Christmas as her character meets a sad ending. National Television Awards 2008: The Winners

The National Television Awards may have had some stunning dresses and make-up looks, and I may have gotten to talk to some great celebrities, but really the whole event was about the gongs that were handed out during the ceremony. Four US faces came over to help give them out - Zachary Quinto, Nicollette Sheridan, Michael Urie and Paris Hilton - but the winners were all Brits, as voted for by the public.

In the press room following each acceptance speech we were visited by the winners. Rita Simons and Matt Littler seemed genuinely shocked and excited about their victories, Paul O'Grady seemed surprised but indifferent to his win in the Most Popular Entertainment Programme category, while Simon Cowell and Ant and Dec were consummate chuffed professionals. David Tennant used his remote acceptance speech to announce he was leaving Doctor Who, and the entire Eastenders cast bounded up to the stage to collect for Most Popular Serial Drama.

Taylor, Johnny, Megan & Vampires Make Scream Awards Sexy

The Spike Scream Awards took over the Greek Theater in LA on Saturday night, bringing together the biggest names in Horror, Fantasy, Comics and Science Fiction. Vampires were of course some of the biggest winners of the night and the stars of The Vampire Diaries and True Blood were all in attendance. Kate Bosworth presented a statue to Alexander Skarsgard, amid rumors that there's something going on between them. Taylor Lautner was the only Twilight representative and debuted the "Behind the Scenes" New Moon footage, which wasn't much though more may come when the show actually airs. There were rumors that Kristen Stewart would make a cameo since she was back in LA, but fans were still satisfied to see sexy Taylor representing and all the shirtless Wolf Pack in the footage from the upcoming film. Johnny Depp accepted a spike for the incomplete Alice in Wonderland as well as presented an award of immortality to Keith Richards. Megan Fox expressed her gratitude to the Transformers franchise while Stephen Moyer had one of the sweetest moments of the night when he thanked the True Blood producers for being "surprising matchmakers."

On the red carpet, one of the night's winners Isabel Lucas chatted about spending last Halloween with Shia LaBeouf, though she admitted that the holiday isn't huge in her native Australia. She looked great in her Chanel dress and Jimmy Choo shoes even without getting a drop of sleep the night before. Eliza Dushku was sexy posing for the cameras and presenting with Dave Navarro - garnering cheers from her fans the whole time. Justin Long was out to support one of the night's big winners Drag Me to Hell and was friendly as he made his way into the awards. Nominees for the Royal Television Society Programme Awards

The nominees for the Royal Television Society Programme Awards have been announced today. While ITV has just nine nominations, the BBC and Channel 4 are leading the way with 64 nominations between them - 39 for the BBC network and 25 for Channel 4 and its digital channels. I'm rooting for Skins in the Drama Series category, Strictly Come Dancing in the Entertainment category, and Gordon Ramsay's F Word in the Features and Lifestyle Series category. It would be great to see Stephen Fry win the Entertainment Performance category for QI, but he's up against stiff competition in the shape of Ant and Dec, one of ITV's few nominations.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 19 March in a ceremony hosted by Eamonn Holmes at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. Who do you want to win?
