Celebrity Style: Sienna Miller in New York

Sienna Miller was spotted walking her dog in New York City on Saturday looking very stylish. She wore muted colours adding interest with mixed textures topping off the look with a military jacket from Twenty8Twelve's Autumn line. Sienna was carrying a burgundy Prada tote, which she is rarely seen without these days! See below to copy her look.

The Spring 2010 Twenty8Twelve Fashion show was so much fun. Not only were the clothes amazing, but I was able to speak to Alexa Chung about her beauty secrets right after she and FabSugar UK talked fashion. And as if that's not enough, we also got to see Anna Wintour in the front row! But just you wait, because it gets even better. After the show, I even snagged a few seconds with DJ Leigh Lezark where we gabbed about her beauty product must-haves. To my surprise, the beautiful brunette was even more stunning up close and personal.

Her blue eyes were piercingly bright, outlined in heavy black liner and her hair was smooth, straight and perfectly in place. Here's the lowdown on what we talked about:

What's the one beaut product you can't live without? I'm obsessed with Charles Worthington Dream Hair Shine Finishing Spray . I love what it does to my hair.
What's your best kept beauty secret? I guess getting plenty of sleep and drinking lots and lots of water to stay hydrated.
What's your favourite beauty brand? Chanel. Definitely Chanel.

Trend Alert: Drop Front Jacket

Blazers are a wardrobe staple and remain a must have season upon season. The only difference is that they get a slight update each time and this season it's been given an edgy feel with draped detailing.

There are a variety of styles for a range of budgets from a drop front style at Topshop (£60), to a softer charcoal design at Opening Ceremony (£445). Roberto Cavalli has a luxury wool version (£1,310) in his Autumn collection too. My favourite is Lover's drape lapel blazer (£375). What do you think of this twist on the classic?

Exclusive! A Few Fab Words with Alexa Chung

Last week, BellaSugar UK and I managed to catch up with style icon Alexa Chung at the Spring 2010 Twenty8Twelve show. Yesterday, her beauty secrets were revealed and now here is her quick chat with me about her favourite shows, her plans for the week and her Mulberry bag.

When we met she was wearing a The Smiths t-shirt and a silver jacquard mini skirt showing off her enviable pins. She sat in the front row next to Anna Wintour spurring rumours of a possible Vogue US appearance for the MTV presenter. Despite living in New York, she came to London for fashion week and attended many shows including Luella, Charles Anastase and Burberry Prorsum.

Did you enjoy the show?
I thought it was great. It was really nice. I liked the green jumpsuit and I liked the end look a lot. My favourite bit was the t-shirt that was fashioned in to a sort of swimsuit.
What has been your favourite show this week?
A toss up between Luella and Charles. I mean Charles Anastase, everyone thinks I'm saying Giles!
Are you going to Burberry tomorrow?
Yeah I’m DJing at the party.
Earlier in the week Mulberry unveiled their Spring collection which includes a bag named after you! Are you excited?
Yeah! It’s good isn’t it? I’ve got two!

Exclusive! Alexa Talks Spots and Her Secret to Good Skin

Following the Twenty8Twelve Fashion Show, FabSugar UK and I were about to leave when we spotted Alexa Chung taking a break on the bench in the lobby. Lucky us walked on over and got the chance to chat with her for a few minutes about her background, her beauty secrets, and her thoughts on having a brand-new Spring 2010 Mulberry bag named after her!

You'll have to wait until later on in the week to hear about the amazing Alexa bag, but for now, I've got the skinny on her signature winged eyeliner, her theory on why she's only had a spot once in her life (erm, can you say skin envy) and the icons who've been her beauty inspiration.

Wow, in person, you sure do you have great skin.
Thanks. It's because I’m half Chinese.
What are some of the beauty products you can’t live without?
Hmm. I don't wear much makeup. I literally never get spots. Literally. I’ve had them about one time in my life. I’m just saying, it has nothing to do with products. That’s all crap. I drink water and I have good genes. I do use Declèor. They have an oil that’s really nice because I have really dry skin actually.
When did you decide to make winged eyeliner your signature look?
I don’t think I have ever decided. It just happens, every day because I’m really boring and I don’t know what else to do! When I realized it made my eyes look better, I just stuck with it.
Who are some of your beauty icon inspirations?
I’ve always loved 60's women like Jane Birkin and Julie Christie, and this type of make up (winged eyeliner) literally suits me better than shit 80's makeup. I look shit in lipstick too. I think if I looked alright in (dark) lipstick that would be my thing.

The spotlight might have been on Sienna and Savannah's Twenty8Twelve Spring collection, which by the way, looks very cool, but we can't stop admiring Sienna's cute outfit. I guess that's why she's a designer, right? Her Fashion Week ensemble consists of gray skinny jeans, a blush pink printed top, and a pair of chunky platform boots. I love the juxtaposition between hard and soft elements.

London Fashion Week, Spring 2010: Twenty8Twelve

There has been a lot of hype surrounding the Twenty8Twelve catwalk shows since they began last season. Spring 2010 was no exception with an impressive front row boasting Anna Wintour, Alexa Chung (maybe she scored herself a future Vogue cover?), Pixie and Peaches Geldof and Leigh Lezark. Much like Topshop Unique, the soundtrack to this show was early '90s grunge and this was definitely reflected on the catwalk. The official inspiration list was pretty vast from modern artists like Willem de Kooning, to African street style photographs to the deep South. There were short shorts and crop tops revealing bare midriffs. Faded denim and scarves through the hair added to the all American vibe. Sienna literally jetted off after the show to make it to Broadway on time – what a commute!

Celebs Keep Lining Up To Check Out Fashionable London!

London Fashion Week comes to a triumphant close today, and yesterday the shows and parties were still in full swing with fashion folk mingling with celebs all over the city! American Vogue editor Anna Wintour was seated next to Alexa Chung at the twenty8twelve show last night, and they seemed to share a laugh - do you think Alexa will be a future Vogue US cover star? Pixie Geldof sat on the other side of Alexa for the show, designed by Savannah and Sienna Miller, who had flown over from her starring role on Broadway to see the collection's London debut. My girl FabUK also caught up with Alexa as well as Leigh Lezark, so keep your eyes peeled for all the goss from her!

Kimberley Walsh was looking stunning in red last night at the 30 Days of Fashion party with bandmate Nicola Roberts, and I also spied her later at the Temperley party at Sketch. What a packed and exciting day!

Trend Alert: Pleat Front Shorts

When the weather is fine, you will probably want to expose a little more flesh and this can be tricky when heading to your work place. On eof the best ways to achieve this in a stylish way this season is to wear tailored shorts. Chloe featured this look on the catwalk and it has been worked on the red carpet by Chloe Sevigny, Kate Bosworth and Sienna Miller.
