Fab UK's December Must Haves
It's the first of December already, can you believe it? 2009 has flown by and now it's time to don a Santa hat and drink mulled wine! I find that Christmas is a great time to get in those last mintue requests for items you've been eying up for a while.

Urban Outfitters' new Stacked Drawers Vanity ($498) is made of stacked drawers, topped with a jewelry-box compartment with an underlid mirror. I've seen this concept of stacking mismatched drawers to make a new dresser before a few times — see here and here — but I'm not sold on this particular execution. What do you think?

My grandmother was a painter and also a decorator, so she was very particular about the way her studio looked. Afraid her paints might ruin her studio floors, she painted them all black and then called in her friends for a splatterpainting party, purposefully painting her floors à la Jackson Pollock. This Urban Outfitters Painter's Chair ($298) is a bit like those floors, except much less inspired.
Love It or Hate It? Cardboard Fireplace
I spotted this Cardboard Fireplace ($24) at Urban Outfitters and I kind of love it. For one, the bricks remind me of the cardboard bricks I used to play with when I was a kid. And two, I love a good faux fireplace — my "crackling fire" DVD plays on repeat in the Winter.
