I don't foresee myself walking down the aisle anytime soon, but that won't stop me from peeping at the latest bridal fashions from Jenny Packham, Vera Wang, Reem Acra, Monique Lhuillier, and Temperley London. For Fall '10, the designers supplied us with an abundance of fabulous, frothy layers of tulles, taffeta, lace, and ruffles. Whitney Port attended the NYC premiere of The City season two, which debuts on Sept. 29, wearing a gorgeous silver brocade Whitney Eve mini dress. Always a girlie girl, the reality starlet cinched her waist with a pink and purple ribbon belt, then dressed her earlobes up with modern pearls. A pair of dainty sequined pumps continue the glittery theme. Lovely from head to toe.

At last night's New York City screening of The September Issue, a documentary about Vogue, Anna Wintour and what goes into putting together the biggest issue of the magazine, the crème de la crème of the fashion world rocked the red carpet. I don't know about you, but I especially loved this photo of Sienna Miller touching Anna Wintour. Doesn't it just make you feel uncomfortable to see someone warmly and openly engaging the model ice queen?

I also loved gawking at Georgina Chapman (Marchesa designer), Vera Wang and Bee Shaffer's shiny, long hair. They make straight look glamorous and enviable with evenly cut edges and a kind of body that only comes from what I have to guess is hours of mane maintenance. Seriously, it looks as though their hair has been spun from silk! No matter how many deep conditioning treatments I incur, my hair will never grow to be that long and look that healthy. Do you have any secrets for how to get luxe hair like Georgina, Vera and Bee?

Thanks to Vera's vast selection of gorgeous gowns, bridesmaids can hold their heads high and wear their frocks with pride. The line, ranging from $180 to $300, includes decadent short and long styles made from jewel-toned satins, silks, and refined taffeta. My favorite has to be this modern Renee Satin Tiered Dress. Who ever said you can't wear bridesmaid dresses twice? Not Vera.

Fab Flash: Vera Wang Launches Footwear Despite All the Drama

Despite news about her failing Lavender Line, Vera Wang is determined to make things work. In fact, the designer decided to forge ahead with a footwear collection while plans for her handbag line are put on hold. “I didn’t want to launch a bag line in this economy,” said the designer. As for Lavender Label, expect to see a change within price points and a shift in offerings. Vera hinted that she might turn the line into a dress collection. “We will decide, but based on what the orders are coming in,” said Wang.
