Arrested Development movie was a hot topic at this month's
TCA press tour, but it wasn't the only TV-to-film adaptation on reporters' minds. When Rob Thomas turned up to talk about his forthcoming
Cupid, he also entertained some questions about the future of
Veronica Mars — and what he said was mostly good news for fans.
With Cupid's episode order cut from 13 to eight, Thomas said he now finds himself with "a couple months to write the Veronica Mars movie."

Could be cool if the critically acclaimed show can draw a big enough audience to the big screen
1LOVE Veronica Mars! I'm not sure how it would transfer to the big screen, but you can bet I'd be in line to see the movie! Which reminds me.....I need to pull out those DVDs and re-watch the whole series.
2Bring it!! I'll be there in the line on opening day to get into the theatre. I don't care that the show came to an end over 2 yrs ago now - this is one of THE greatest, smartest TV shows of all time and deserves a proper send-off. Please do it Rob Thomas - us VM fanatics are on our kneeees!

9Yes, but those are the only three actors that he should bring from the show to the film. The rest of the story should be fresh so that people who have never watched the show can still enjoy the movie. Besides the other characters and their plot lines were not very interesting.

13I would love to see a Veronica Mars movie! I want more LoVe in my life! Logan and Veronica should be together. I'm glad they would be bringing Weevil back too, Wallace better make an appearance as well! A movie would allow everything to be closed, since the end of season three left a lot of questions unanswered.

28I was so sad when the show was canceled- so I would be excited to see this on the big screen. While I dont know how well the movie would be compared to the show - it is still nice to have a conclusion!

37YES, YES, and a thousand more YES'S. Get it made already - Its only recently been out in the UK and is aired at unsociable hours but already its starting to get a big following. GUTTED it wasnt continued as a series but if there is any chance it could be a film - LETS GET IT MADE!!!
