Buzz-Worthy Video of the Day: Adam Lambert's Time For Miracles

Adam Lambert's new song "Time For Miracles" leaked online a few days ago, and I was admittedly mixed about it. Now, the music video for the song is making the rounds on the blogosphere, and I'm actually digging it more than I thought I would!

It's from the upcoming film 2012, so it has the obligatory movie scenes, but dare I say, Lambert's pretty darn sexy in it. (I bet TresSugar would agree with me!) Plus, the way he starts wailing around the three-minute mark could even give Christina Aguilera a run for her money. I'm still waiting for his video duet with Kris Allen, but until then check out "Miracles" and tell me what you think when you read more.

Heath Ledger's Music Video "Cause An Effect" Debuts

A music video Heath Ledger directed shorty before his death has been released. Heath shot the video for "Cause An Effect" on a single camera in his garage in Sydney for childhood friend, Australian rapper N'Fa, also known as No Fixed Abode. A video of N'Fa discussing the video and Heath's creative vision has also been released - check it out after the jump. Heath also started to direct a video for Modest Mouse's "King Rat" before his tragic death.

Which is Your Favourite Halloween Music Video?

It's Halloween on Saturday and I've been thinking about my favourite spookily themed music videos! Michael Jackson's "Thriller" will always be a classic, but there's been some other fun ones like Backstreet Boys "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)", Rihanna's "Disturbia" and perhaps the lesser known Metric's "Monster Hospital". Meat Loaf, Ryan Gosling's band Dead Man's Bones and a couple of songs from The Rocky Horror Picture Show just missed my list, but I'd love to know which of these is your favourite - so let me know!

Russell Brand and Katy Perry spent their day out in LA together yesterday, stopping on their drive to pick up drinks and filling up their car with petrol. After Katy's messy 25th birthday party at the weekend the two looked like they were enjoying some mellow time out in the sunshine, wearing shades and walking with their arms around each other. Beyonce feat. Lady GaGa "Video Phone" - Spin It or Sling It?

Beyonce and Lady GaGa have teamed up for new song "Video Phone", and the video has just been released! Beyonce sports a number of revealing outfits in the colourful video, while GaGa's appearance is pretty understated compared to her usual outlandish attire! She said she told Beyonce, "...I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video... I want to do you." Do You Want To See Russell Brand Host The MTV VMAs Again?

It's being reported that MTV will announce that Russell Brand will host the MTV Video Music Awards 2009, despite the controversy he caused last year when he took the hosting gig. He will be the first host to take the reins of the show for two years in a row! The awards are due to take place at Madison Square Gardens in September, apparently with a West Side Story theme, but do you want to see Russell host the show again? Or did his digs at the Jonas Brothers last year make you think he doesn't deserve the job? Let me know!

Buzz-Worthy Video: Beck, Feist, Wilco Performing Together

Guaranteed way to make me drop everything I'm doing and press play: tell me that Beck, Feist, and Wilco are collaborating. It's true; Beck recruited the folk chanteuse, the rock band, and British singer Jamie Lidell to join him to perform a tribute to '60s musician Skip Spence.

Their cover of Spence's song, "Little Hands," was recorded in the famous Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood in ultrahip black and white. The song is beautiful, but I'm still just beaming to see some of my favorite artists in one room together (including Jeff Tweedy's son Spencer on drums!). And Beck, you're rocking that devil's haircut.

The 50 Sexiest Music Videos of All Time

When I saw that Nerve.com put together a list of the 50 sexiest music videos of all time, my first thought was: Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" better be on there! Isaak's tribute to steamy beach lovin' indeed made the list, as did many other old standbys, including "Justify My Love" by Madonna and "Cryin'" by Aerosmith.

The list also features other sexy vids I'd totally forgotten about. Anyone else remember sneaking off to watch Billy Idol's "Cradle of Love" as a kid? And don't even get me started on D'Angelo's "How Does It Feel"! There are also a handful of obscure picks I've never seen before.
