I think it's safe to say if you book Kate Moss for an ad campaign she can single-handedly ameliorate the brand. Then, choose to have hubbie/wife duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shoot, and, well, you get something quite fabulous. As you know I'm on a YSL kick, especially in the handbag arena, and the designer of 2007, Alber Elbaz, may have some stiff competition in the Year of the Rat.

In celebration of the 2008 Whitney Biennial, Gap has joined forces with top contemporary artists in producing limited edition artist tees. Dutch photographers Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin have shot many a fashion editorial but this one for V Magazine may be the creepiest yet. It's almost painful to look at model Carmen Kass' protruding bones and alien-like neck. Her face is pretty, but it looks as though her head is going to snap off at any moment.
