Today's musical bests came out for the American Music Awards, and several of them did so in style. There wasn't a lot of color or drama, but detailing and shimmer made up for it. Taylor Swift looked sweet in a beaded one shouldered dress, while Alicia Keys looked exotic in navy and a bindi.

Attention! It's a battle between a French and an American. Frenchie Marion Cotillard first wore Vivienne Westwood's red satin strapless dress to the London of Public Enemies.

I am loving t-shirt dresses right now. You can wear them with leggings through the transeasonal months or with skinny jeans on cooler days. I spotted this printed tee by Vivienne Westwood (£176) recently, but can't decide how I feel about the print.

Marion Cotillard continued to live up to her Parisian chic status at the London premiere of Public Enemies. The actress stepped onto the red carpet in a red satin strapless Vivienne Westwood dress that's all about the bustier bodice. Her accompanying black accessories — Stella McCartney clutch and ankle-strap platforms — pull in depth without distracting.

Brit fashion designer Vivienne Westwood's apparel may be too punky to wear for some, but her new collection of wallpaper for Cole & Son has just enough whimsy for every house. From her iconic Squiggle print of Fall/Winter 1981-92 to her more recent Cutout Lace of Spring/Summer '07, all of her wallpapers are based on signature designs from her fashion collections.
"It is good when my ideas get carried over into other artistic media," she says.

Sadly (or perhaps not so sadly), the marriage between burlesque bombshell Dita Von Teese and Marilyn Manson ended, but the photos of her fabulous wedding gown have remained. Phew! Though I probably wouldn't dare to wear such an over-the-top Vivienne Westwood gown for my big day, everything about it matches Dita's unique style.

Amy Winehouse was arrested for allegedly assaulting a fan at a party in March, pleaded not guilty to charges and attended court today as the case began. Wearing a Vivienne Westwood suit and with a blonde streak through the front of her hair, Amy was accompanied by her father Mitch to the proceedings. The prosecution stated that Sherene Flash asked for a photo with Amy in a dressing room, then after she agreed, Sherene's drunk friend tried to get into the photo too which apparently led to Amy lashing out.

Over the past few years, I've been known to sing the praises of Marion Cotillard's oh-so French makeup and hairstyles. Whether it's some severe smoky eyes, a berry-stained lip, or an Oscar-worthy dark lipstick, her beauty looks are inspiring — not to mention just plain cool. But, has this award-winning French actress delivered the gotta-have-it-factor once again?
