October's Vogue Features Kelly Wearstler's Hollywood Home

Since so many of you have a love it or hate it relationship with designer Kelly Wearstler's unique style, I figured that you'd be interested in taking a tour of her Hollywood mansion. Good news - now you can.

The October issue of Vogue includes a special feature on interior designer Kelly Wearstler’s Hollywood mansion, gorgeously photographed by Francois Halard with a profile penned by Hamish Bowles. Definitely head over to Vogue for the complete tour, and also check out the outtakes, which are only available online.

There are definitely some fascinating facts to be learned, such as her scrupulously color-coded shoes and vintage hats collections, and her use of color (cerulean blue) and pattern (faux crocodile) in her young sons' bedrooms. I know that I find Kelly Wearstler absolutely fascinating (and fabulous), and this Vogue profile only reinforces that impression.

Fab Flash: Jonathan Saunders to Show in London Again

September 2009 was a big month for British fashion as London celebrated it's 25th year as a style capital. Many of the UK's biggest names and brands, including Matthew Williamson, Burberry and Jonathan Saunders, brought their designs home creating an amazing buzz around the city.

Although the celebrations are nearly over with, it seems that the experience has left quite the impact on Jonathan Saunders who told Vogue that he intends to stay here for one more season.

He explained, "I just loved showing here in September. It's much easier than New York because I'm still based in London, and I always will be - but I will go back to show in New York next autumn. It's just such a huge country - and nationwide stores like Saks and Barney's give you such huge reach. It's good for a business." I think this is a great boost for London, I wonder if any other designers will follow suit?

This Just In: Vogue Living Book Released

Today is the release date of Vogue Living: Houses, Gardens, People, a book written by Vogue Editor Hamish Bowles draws on stories that have appeared in the pages of Vogue and Vogue Living over the past two decades, along with never-before-published images. The book features photographs by celebrity photographers like Annie Leibowitz, Mario Testino, and Bruce Weber, and gives us a sneak peek into the coveted homes of celebrity style-makers like Madonna, Oscar de la Renta, and Karl Lagerfeld. I don't know about you, but I'm already halfway to the bookstore to pick up my long-awaited copy.

J Lo Welcomes Vogue into her Home

J Lo and her mom woke up and spent some quality mother-daughter time on their patio at the Hotel Europe Villa Cortes in Tenerife, part of the Canary Islands. Marc Anthony will perform on the island on Thursday. Apparently we're going to get to see the couple's Long Island estate very soon. J Lo and Marc remodeled their NY home big time, and have agreed to let Vogue publish pics of their pad for the upcoming special issue. Sounds like it will be an interesting issue.

Taylor Adds a Touch of Twilight to Teen Vogue's Bash

Taylor Lautner made an appearance Friday on the red carpet at Teen Vogue's annual Young Hollywood bash in LA. He's on the cover of the October issue, and Taylor was looking right at home as he mingled with a crowd that included new Eclipse star Noot Seear. On Saturday, Taylor was already at LAX on his way back to Canada, where his costars like Robert Pattinson spent the weekend with their usual cast dinners and filming.

Selena Gomez was also at the party, but the former couple didn't seem to get too close. Inside the party Selena joined fellow young stars like Ashley Tisdale, AnnaLynne McCord, Tallulah Belle Willis, and more. The following night, Selena performed her first ever concert in front of celebrity fans like Nicole Richie and Lo Bosworth. It sounds like a pretty exciting weekend for Selena, looking perfectly adorable as ever as she shows off another talent and hits the same red carpet as her ex-boyfriend Taylor.

Posh Stands Out Celebrating 25 Years of London Fashion Week

Victoria Beckham mixed and mingled in her colorful dress at a private party hosted by British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman to celebrate the 25th anniversary of London Fashion Week last night. Posh chatted with attendees like supermodel Naomi Campbell and designers Christian Louboutin and Stella McCartney. The British fashion celebration so far has included a lot of Kate Moss and the newest line from Sienna and Savannah Miller. Once again, Victoria is on the road while David is back in the states but she's right at home in the London fashion scene even without her dapper husband. Sienna Hops Across the Pond For Twenty8Twelve at LFW

Kate Moss led the partying for London Fashion Week over the weekend, but yesterday it was Sienna Miller's turn to shine. Sienna headed home to England after debuting her Broadway play After Miss Julie on Saturday in order to be there for her Twenty8Twelve show. She joined her sister Savannah and a canine companion for photos before the presentation, which brought out heavy hitters like Anna Wintour. Sienna and Anna are buddy-buddy after their work together promoting The September Issue, so perhaps the Miller sisters can look forward to some upcoming support in the pages of Vogue.

Michelle Gives Vogue Her First Post-Heath Interview

Michelle Williams graces the cover of Vogue's October issue, opening up about Heath Ledger for her first magazine interview since his death. The actress looks gorgeous as she promotes her pushed-back Shutter Island and provides us an in-depth look at how she and Matilda are dealing with their life after Heath's passing. She reveals she is no longer dating Spike Jonze, but sounds like she's staying strong as a single parent. Here's more:

On dealing with Heath's death: "I have been severely accident-prone over the past 12 months. I fell downstairs, broke a toe, put my fingers in a blender - seriously distracted. [I would often] cry, nap, sit and stare, try to figure out what to make [Matilda] for dinner, talk to friends on the phone. I was holding it together by a string and a paper clip in the Fall and Winter. I didn’t know if I could keep it all together."
On grieving with Matilda: "I just don’t see the upside to this. You console yourself by saying it’s all a deepening process. But it’s weird. After the first year, the pain is less intense; it’s less immediate. But the magical thinking goes away, too. And that’s a whole new reckoning. But every time I really miss him and wonder where he’s gone, I just look at her."
On splitting with Spike Jonze: "The timing was impossible. I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain. This erroneous idea: it just makes things more complicated."

On before Heath died: "Brokeback Mountain was an unrepeatable moment in time, a very charmed time in my life. I was in love; I was in a movie I was proud to be a part of, and with a beautiful brand-new baby. Everything was good in that moment. [After we split I started filming a movie in Sweden because] I just didn’t want to be at home. Geography is a great solution for heartbreak."
On waiting so long before she started to do interviews: "I didn’t know what my boundaries were for a long time, which made interviews feel very unsafe. I can talk about grief, because that’s mine; about single parenting; about trying to balance work and kids. But what I don’t have to talk about is what happened between Heath and me in our relationship."
On dating while having a daughter: "I obviously don’t know how to [date with a child, but] I’m falling more and more in love with her and I think she deserves the bulk of my attention. We’re lucky. I can work. She can go to a good school. There’s a lot there for her. And she can know her dad in so many ways, and so many of his friends who will be able to tell her so many stories. His friends, his family - they were a big part of his life, and they will be a big part of her life."
On her future: "I feel hopeful and grateful. For a while I thought we had lost everything. It makes you want to love better and live better and treat people better.There is a great Gloria Steinem quote - and I’m paraphrasing - ‘Become the man you want to marry.’ I’ve taken that on. What qualities do I find attractive, and can I find them in myself? What am I missing? Can I be that for myself?"

Fab Blab: Antonio Berardi Talks London Fashion Week

There are only a few weeks to go until London Fashion Week commences for another season, but names are still being added to the schedule. We have already heard about the return of Burberry Prorsum, Pringle of Scotland and Matthew Williamson, and yesterday more design houses joined the party as both Sass & Bide and Antonio Berardi announced their plans.

Today, Antonio (who is perhaps most famous for being popular with Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow) has spoken out about his decision to join the 25th anniversary celebrations. He usually shows in Milan, but explained to Vogue, "The great thing about London is just to soak up the atmosphere which has always been electric. Since I began my career in London, and London was magnanimous enough to support me back then, it seems only right that I can repay the favour which is long overdue."

He also added that he has connections in the capital. "My stylist Sophia Neophitou [from 10 Magazine] is based there, and though it's a big decision, it feels right. Luckily I've got support from Peroni who are making a London show possible."

For now, Antonio is only committing to this season, but maybe we can convince him to stay! "I am a bit of a traveller, having had shows in London, Paris, Milan and New York with my diffusion line. Who knows where next season will take me? But for now I'm very happy to be coming home."
