On your honeymoon, you realize that you've spent oodles of this time and money grooming your goods, your brows and your legs so that they are free of unwanted hairs, but you're guy is more hairy than a chimpanzee! Whilst a little bit of hair on his chest can be sexy, his back, underarms, unruly eyebrows and wild hair down there, can be unsettling. Of course there's always the exception, perhaps your guy is more metro-sexual or just likes to keep things tidy, but for most women, trying to groom your groom can be a hairy situation.

Some girls have lingerie showers before their wedding so that they have sexy new sleep-wear (wink) for their first trip together as a married couple. Others, get a spray tan or a bikini wax if they're going to a tropical destination, yet I've been told that more ladies than you'd think buy brand new cosmetics. Purchasing multi-purpose beauty products is not only a great way to physically lighten up your load for travel, but apparently the psychology is that you give off a more low-maintenance appearance.

Ahh — thoughts of being a country-style bride and marrying in a lush garden (the Kyoto area of Holland Park perhaps?) would be a fairy tale come true. Think fresh and glowy makeup with soft tendrils surrounded by English roses, manicured greens and the simplicity of a white tent (you'd be foolish not to consider the possibility of rain in the UK). Below are a few of my favourite beauty products to consider if you're having a garden wedding.

On-trend brides like Fergie and Heidi Pratt want to reach their beauty potential on their big day. Their goal is to look current with a formula including one part sexy, one part innocent and two parts glamorous. Hair will likely be tied up in an effortless looking side bun or carefully crafted chignon or worn long, extended and loosely curled.

Welcome to part four of my series on wedding makeup. So far we've talked about the type of products to use if you're planning a beach wedding, an eco wedding or a royal wedding. However, the edgy bride has a style that's all her own.

Part three of my series on Wedding Makeup 101, is catered towards the eco-conscious bride. She's someone who wants to make the world a better place. She'll likely be wearing a gown made from animal-free or organic materials, use recycled paper for her invitations, and make sure that her big day coheres with environmentally sound guidelines.

Last week, I put together a tutorial for all of the brides out there who were looking to re-create the formal, regal look of a princess at home. However, this week, I've chosen some waterproof makeup products for those of you laid-back brides who are getting ready to tie the knot on a beach.
I know that most beach brides don't even want to entertain wearing makeup at all whilst walking along a sandy shore in a tropical paradise, but take it from me, even a tiny bit of mascara and gloss will go a long way in photos.

If you're a more conservative bride (not necessarily someone having a raging hen party), who's throwing the formal wedding of the century, then you're likely looking for a clean and ultrapolished makeup look. Take a cue from some of the gorgeous women that have been scooped up by the world's most eligible bachelors. These pretty princesses understand the need to look refined at all times.

With wedding season upon us, brides will have to face the impending question of how to wear their hair on their big day. If you're trying to decide to go classical and upswept. sleek and pulled back, half up or loose and down, what better ways to source ideas then to look at famous movie scenes from years past.
