Most people are so busy getting stressed out planning a wedding they forget that it's supposed to be a joyous occasion. It's times like these when you need the support of your best friends, or vice versa. Why not make light of the situation, have fun, and give your single friend one last hurrah before she ties the knot?

It's never too early to get in shape for your wedding, but you also can't be blamed for thinking about the wedding gifts right off the bat. You can go the traditional route and register for home and kitchen items, or you can mix it up with some fitness-related finds, from tandem bikes to gym memberships.
I was actually surprised to find a number of online retailers that let you register for fitness-related gifts.

When planning a wedding, couples often shy away from adding expensive electronics to their bridal registry because they are often perceived as luxury items rather than necessities. When friends and family are willing to spend exorbitant amounts of money on formal china sets (which will rarely get used), why is it so hard to ask for cameras, televisions or camcorders on your wedding registry?
Nonetheless, when creating an online registry, make sure you and your fiancé pick a variety of gifts that fit your lifestyle and your needs- since you'll both be living with the results.

As wedding season winds down, here's a fabulous gift idea for the newlyweds to take along on their honeymoon or even for a couple celebrating its one-year anniversary: the Mr. and Mrs. Beach Towel Set. You can buy this set of his and hers beach towels, available in seven different colors, for just $60 here. Throw in two pairs of stylish flip-flops and some fancy sunscreen, and you've got yourself one heck of a thoughtful (but inexpensive) gift.

Wedding etiquette is remarkably touchy and unfortunately complex in some social circles. Some of the tension is centered in the gift-giving ritual, which is a way for guests to help the couple complete their home together.
According to a survey by market research company GfK, 90 percent of people who attended weddings in the past two years said they bought gifts, while just 28 percent of couples said they expected to receive them.

Hi Casa,
My friends just got married, and even though I attended their wedding (gorgeous, by the way!), I still haven't given them their gift. I feel a little guilty about it, but I just couldn't imagine getting them a cheese grater or a set of pillow shams from their registry. I want to get them something a little more unique.

Gifts are a way to acknowledge your congratulations to newlyweds and to show appreciation for being included in the celebration. There are various opinions surrounding gifts: Some say guests have a year to give a gift, some assume the cost of the gift should be approximately what the couple spent on each guest, some only give money while others would never think of it, and the list goes on.
Rob Johnsen, co-founder of MyWedding.com advises to decide how much your relationship is worth: If the couple are "two of your most cherished friends or relatives" expect to spend about $200, if they're people you value but don't communicate regularly or see often than spend between $50 and $100, and a couple who you don't know very well would receive a gift worth $50 or under.
