We've talked a lot about music for a rocking wedding reception, but what about the ceremony? The days when "Bridal Chorus" (aka "Here Comes the Bride") were the only options for the walk down the aisle have passed, and I've heard of weddings where the bride walked to everything from folk tunes to jazz standards to string quartet versions of Coldplay songs.
So I'm wondering: If you're married, or planning a wedding, did you go classical or contemporary with your ceremony songs?

You know the scene in My Best Friend's Wedding when the dude pretending to be with Julia Roberts breaks into song while smack in the middle of a speech, and as Hollywood would have it, the whole table joins in? The peeps below made the scene a little less Hollywood and a little more Broadway. They had a fantastic performance, but I wanna know how everyone in attendance at this wedding (even the father of the groom!) had a voice fit for singing.

This sunny Spring weather has definitely lifted my spirits, and it's a time for many people to rekindle old romances, and find new ones as well. So take a long relaxing stroll in the sunshine with someone special, and enjoy these sentimental songs about love. This playlist is about 45 minutes long so if you walk the entire time at a moderate pace (3 mph), you'll end up burning 155 calories.

Taylor Swift chose a soft and romantic look for tonight's MTV Video Music Awards. Her hair looks like what you'd expect to see on a bride on her wedding day. Yes, it might be a little too formal for this occasion, but given her age and her innocence, I think it works well on Taylor.
