Unless Someone Like You, who designs and sells wedding poster invites like this one, says, "For my wedding I wanted something really different, so we sent out 11x17 posters in tubes instead of an invitation." She suggests you "frame and mat the poster with no glass, and set it out at the reception for friends and family to sign the mat with their blessings and best wishes." What do you think of this idea?

A word to the wise: naked photos can always resurface — even decades later. As archivists sort through 610 boxes full of memorabilia and junk collected by the late Andy Warhol, they recently stumbled upon an autographed nude photo of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
Jackie O was a frequent muse to the packrat artist and apparently gifted him a naked poster signed, "For Andy, with enduring affection, Jackie Montauk."

Design duo Dan Ibarra and Michael Byzewski, better known as Aesthetic Apparatus, have made a name for themselves in the niche market of rock posters but make their bucks off of imaginative identity and packaging design. Dan (the Funny One) and Michael (the Sexy One) met working at a design studio in Madison, Wisc., called Planet Propaganda. Those days marked the kickoff of their screen printing career, and they have since opened up studio in Minneapolis.

I love sweet, traditional baby announcements and lord knows there's a huge selection to choose from, but recently it seems that parents want to stray from the norm. Names are unique, nurseries are designed to the nines, and even baby announcements are taking a different angle.
Rattle-N-Roll makes funky birth announcements that resemble concert posters.

Isn't Elizabeth Hurley the perfect poster child for Summer? The model was out and about in NYC wearing a bright yellow Catherine Malandrino top (on sale) and white jeans. Ahh, as refreshing as a cold lemonade on a scorching day.

Eva Longoria-Parker is either really really good at dealing with the cold or really really silly for posing outside Letterman yesterday afternoon before going in to tape her interview. It might have been the first Manhattan January without snow in 75 years, but it's certainly not minidress weather. Nonetheless, Mrs. Longoria-Parker (she said she likes it because she wants to "take up as much room on the poster as possible") smiled and waved for the fans.
