Last week I planned Julie's wedding. I asked you to help me with her look and search the web for a beautiful table setting. You saved anything along these lines: tablecloths, silverware, plates, vases, flowers, candles, and cool centerpieces in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag, Wedding Table.

Readers I need your help: julieulie asked me to aid her in planning her wedding and we need to find a beautiful table setting. While I have everything from the invitations to the menu covered so far, I want you to search the web for tablecloths, silverware, plates, vases, and any special extras you may stumble upon along the way (think flowers, candles, and cool centerpieces). The picture at right is the actual room where the reception will take place so use this as your inspiration (those are not Julie's table settings).

Preston Bailey is one of the world's premiere event designers, known for his elaborate tablescapes, whose theatric designs have festooned the events of Oprah Winfrey, Joan Rivers, and Donald Trump. You can catch a glimpse of some of those looks in his latest book, Celebrations ($37). But thanks to a new project by Bailey, his table settings needn't be something you can only read about in his book — or on Page Six.

One of the many decisions you have to make when planning your wedding is how to style the tables. A spectacular centerpiece on the table is like the icing on the cake. It's an eye catching piece of decor that stimulates conversation and sets the atmosphere for the reception.

It is June and wedding season in is in full bloom. Weddings are fun-filled events, but beware of the buffet. It is all too easy to pile the calories onto one little plate.

I'm normally a huge fan of alternative napkin rings. However, I don't know how I feel about these napkin rings that have a bud vase attached. I'm sure they look lovely resting on a plate and would be wonderfully pretty at a wedding, but once you remove the napkin and start to eat, what are you supposed to do with the napkin ring and flower?

If you've found the perfect place settings thanks to YumSugar's registry picks, you're well on your way to having a beautifully dressed dining room for future dinner parties. But don't stop there — you'll still need table linens, candlesticks, candles, and other essentials to have your table looking its best. If you're not sure where to even start when it comes to registering for your wedding, take a look at my downloadable registry PDF.

This sticky tip etiquette question comes from Angelica, part of our Money Talk group.
I had brunch with a pal recently at a fairly upscale new restaurant and the entire experience was a bust. We had just worked out and were starving so we put in our order as soon as we sat down.

Incorporating geekiness into a wedding has so far been a novelty — something fun to see, but admit it; you think some of these people are a little crazy. Finally, someone on Wedding Bee has changed my opinion on that, and I now bow down to the bride and groom who used video games for table place settings at their reception. The bride's husband is a video game designer and cartoonist, so not only is everything surprisingly elegant-looking, it's completely appropriate.
