Last week I was overjoyed with the release of Super Paper Mario for the Wii. Now thanks to Joystiq who was hot on the trail of the newly released Bust-a-Move Bash, I can double my Wii fun!
In this puzzle, speed will kill when the colors don't match: it's bash or be bashed.

Mario makes a comeback this week in the Super Paper Mario game for the Wii.
By holding the Wii sideways, you can run to the right and left, smashing blocks, collecting coins, bopping goombas and koopa troopas and avoiding bullet bills and hammer brothers.
This game was named Paper Mario because the characters appear to be paper cutouts, which incidentally gives them a unique 2D feel in a 3D environment.

Confession: I love playing video games — I especially love them on the Wii because I get to move, jump, and shake myself into a tizzy. Three fitness games were released for the Wii this last week and even though it's not like doing the real deal outside, the games are a fun way to burn calories and whip your bod into shape.
Nintendo Wii Fit Plus ($20) Wii Fit Plus is Nintendo's follow-up to the popular Wii Fit.

Want to stock up on some Nintendo Wii video games before the holidays? Either to give as gifts or to play when guests come over? Well, for the next week at Target, when you buy any two Wii games for $50, you can get the third game for free.

I caught these designer console skins from WaSaBi while cruising the merch area at this year's Tokyo Game Show, and spent about ten minutes trying to decide on whether or not to splurge. I'm kind of loving the cherry blossom theme on the right, but I can't tell if it would take away from the natural and minimalist feel of the Wii, and/or clash with the rest of my decor. The other designs are pretty sweet too but still, I've never been one to mod my consoles, even if it's with a $20 skin.

You may not be able to get your hands on the black Wii console like the Japanese — I got a chance to see it up close while in Japan this week and can attest to its sexiness — but soon you can get yourself a regular ol' white one for a little less dough.
Announced at this year's Tokyo Game Show, the Wii will be available for $200 starting this Sunday. Perfect timing for the holiday shopping season (and assumed holiday shortage), Nintendo is aligning itself with the entry-level Xbox 360, which while coming in at the same price, boasts lots more features (like Netflix streaming for example).

I try to keep my gaming goods including games, accessories and consoles stowed away, but what if you love your games so much that you want them on display?
For addicted Wii users, there's this handy invention called the Wii Tower Gaming Station, which comes in the same pristine white as the Wii itself. It also includes shelves which will hold up to 16 games, and a blue acrylic top area for either four remotes or nunchucks — although I'm sure you could stuff a couple Wii wheels up there as well.

With HBO's True Blood coming back to our screens this Summer, it's only appropriate that Stephen Moyer would want to stay in shape. And given his affinity for all things Wii (well, on the show anyway), of course he's taking advantage of the newest cardio fitness game to hit the market.
Called Gold's Gym Cardio Workout, this game promises to give us a sweat-inducing, fat-melting workout, and Stephen was spotted getting an up-close and personal look at the game during a Wii fitness event held earlier this week in Southern California.

I've been a little bit hesitant to write about the Wii Fit Stripper Pole game because I'm a little conflicted. But since it appears that it's going to happen, here we go! A Stripper Pole game disturbs me a little, but since it's part of Wii Fit, I think of it as the same level as those stripping exercise classes that popped up a few years ago and seemed cheeky and fun.

After I got my party on with Raving Rabbids and had my fill with the Personal Trainer Chef Edition, it was time to rock out with the Wii!
Wii Music (coming out Oct. 20), is Nintendo's answer to Rock Band, but is only similar to it in the sense that you're standing-up and interactively making music.
