The Elle Women in Hollywood Awards brought out a plethora of stylish stars to the red carpet. From Manolo Blahnik to Jimmy Choo to Christian Louboutin, everyone put their hottest feet forward. Some wore metallics, others did black, there were quite a few sandals, and a couple pumps. Curious whose feet I'm talking about? Proceed.

Speak Up: What's Your Take on the Reebok EasyTone Ads?

In a sea of words, a title like "Make Your Boobs Jealous!" really jumps out at you - something I can attest to after coming across these new ads for Reebok EasyTone.

If these shoes do what Reebok claims, the shoes themselves seem pretty neat - balance pods create natural instability in your step, which forces muscles to adapt and encourages toning in the butt, legs, and thighs. So far, so good, but as my buddy Très points out, the ads focus mostly on two talking breasts!

In the commercials, the camera constantly focuses in on the butt of the actresses, and two out of three times you don't even see a face. And in the commercial where a face is shown, the actress playfully teases with the cameraman that he must like what he sees since he's zooming in so much. Some of the tag lines seem questionable too: "88% of men will be speechless, 76% of women jealous, and 0% will know the reason is on your feet." I don't know about you, but my reason for staying fit is not to make the women around me feel inadequate.

I shared the commercials with a friend and she thought I was being a bit too serious. She got a good laugh out of them and thought they were playful and funny. She especially loved the one where a woman's breasts are given life as they complain about not getting any more stares. Why? Because the butt has taken all the attention away, thanks to EasyTone sneakers! Cue tag line: "Make your boobs jealous!"

When I asked why she wasn't the least bit offended, she left me with the reasoning that "sex sells" and "women want to feel beautiful." I'm going to ask myself if I am being way too serious, but in the meantime, I'd like to know what you think of these ads. Reebok Promises to Make Your Boobs Jealous of Your Butt - Hilarious or Horrifying?

On its website, Reebok claims that its new line of EasyTone shoes, which are displayed against the backdrop of a naked woman, will help you make 88 percent of men speechless and 76 percent of women jealous. Hoping to drum up some hype for these kicks, Reebok has also unveiled a whole slew of commercials touting the shoes' butt-toning abilities. In this commercial, Reebok pitches the shoes by reducing a faceless woman to two talking breasts. You see, the breasts are jealous of the woman's butt, which is now getting all the attention thanks to the shoes. Do you find this ad effective or offensive?

Pleaser Women's Ballet Ankle Boot: Love It or Hate It?

Whoa, this Pleaser Women's Ballet Ankle Boot ($138) should come with a serious warning. How about,"Likely to cause a broken ankle"? I've seen some crazy footwear, but this is asking for a hospital bill. I just don't see how anyone can walk in them. It's part ballet shoe, part stiletto, entirely nuts. I'm staying away, what about you?

Rihanna Waits Her Turn to Be a Woman of the Year

Rihanna is starting to promote her upcoming album, including posing for Glamour's Women of the Year issue. It also coincides with the debut of her new video for "Wait Your Turn" - check it out after the jump. Rihanna has remained silent about the incident with Chris Brown thus far, but she's finally opening up about what happened. She's set to share a little about the ordeal this week on GMA and 20/20. She also discussed the drama, as well as her career and childhood, in the magazine. Here's more:

On her career: "I would have never dreamed that my career would be this successful. I grew up in an average home in Barbados, and we didn’t live in the best neighborhood. But I was never aware that we were poor; my mom never made us feel that way. She made us feel anything was possible and instilled in me such confidence."
On auditioning for Jay-Z: "I thought he would be in a suit, sitting behind a desk with a cigar. But he was totally chill, wearing sneakers and a t-shirt. In a matter of weeks, the first single went to radio. Then we shot a video, and the song just took off. I was in the top 10 with huge artists who I looked up to. Jay-Z kept telling me, 'This never happens, so don’t get used to it.' I saw how special that moment was."

On getting through the past year: "I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears! My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. Toms Shoes Gets Luxurious

Toms Shoes founder Blake Mycoskie has been all around the world, but he's about to embark on a different, more luxurious adventure: he's launching an exclusive holiday collection at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman this week. "From a design perspective, we were trying to preserve the classic silhouette of Toms, but give an upgraded and exclusive version for the Neiman and Bergdorf customer," Mycoskie said.

Look out for high-quality fabrics like metallic linens for women and silk-tie for men. But just because they're more posh doesn't mean these styles aren't philanthropic. For every pair sold - prices range from $78 to $125 - the company will donate a new pair to a child in need.

Emma Thompson Tells Trafficked Woman's Story in Art

Academy-award winning actress Emma Thompson was so moved by the plight of a Moldovan woman who survived being trafficked for sex, she decided to create an art installation that would help viewers to put themselves in Elena's shoes and bring attention to this growing problem.

"Journey," which will be exhibited in New York City Nov. 10 to 16 in Washington Square Park, tells the story of Elena, a woman from the Eastern European republic of Moldova who, at age 18, was promised a secretarial job in England. Instead, once she got there, her passport was confiscated and she was forced into prostitution.

"Journey" consists of seven shipping containers. Each has a keyhole through which the viewer can peer to see a chronology of Elena's story. The first shipping container depicts Elena's childhood and the loss of her father. In another, the viewer can see Elena approached in a Moldovan marketplace and offered work.

Thompson personally curated one of the more disturbing of the shipping containers which depicts Elena's forced prostitution in England. She had Oscar-winning costume designer Sandy Powell design the clothes she was forced to wear, and when the viewer looks into the keyhole, she sees her face superimposed onto the body of a woman in prostitute's clothing. They wanted the viewer to have an experience of what it meant to lose one's identity. Thompson said that even men "didn't laugh or find it funny. They understood absolutely what it meant."

Thompson met Elena while doing work with UNODC (United Nations Office on Drug and Crime) to help raise awareness about the practice of trafficking women, and it sounds as if she's not only telling her plight, she's giving Elena the voice that was taken away from her. In the last shipping container, Elena tells her story on tape.

On Our Radar: Nike 2010 Running Collection

The fitness world may not have a fashion week, but this weekend I previewed some of Nike's 2010 Spring running line, shoes and jackets, at the Nike Running Summit here in San Francisco. At the event, held the day before the 6th annual Nike Women's Marathon, designers explained their two inspiration behind their latest sneakers and running gear: runners and lightweight.

The first concept is fairly self explanatory - they design their gear to complement the motion of running and what runners need. Secondly, they pared everything down to shave off weight leaving the running feeling free and unencumbered.
