You know I love a good pun, and I love yogurt, so how could I not try this new yogurt called Better Whey of Life? Made with whey protein — a favorite of weight-lifting types — each six-ounce cup of the creamy nonfat yogurt contains 15 to 17 grams of protein. That's significantly more than most other yogurt brands, which typically contain five to eight grams of protein, but on par with many Greek yogurts.

I'm a big fan of yogurt. It's a tasty way to get protein and calcium, especially before or after a workout. Greek yogurt is one of my faves because it's packed with so much more protein than regular yogurt, and the thicker consistency makes it feel more decadent.

If you're watching your cholesterol intake, are lactose intolerant, or are concerned about the connection between milk and acne, then you may be looking for alternatives to the dairy products you love. If you're a fan of yogurt, check out this Whole Soy yogurt. Not only is it free of saturated fat, cholesterol, and lactose, but it's also gluten free.

There are so many reasons to love Greek yogurt, like Fage brand. According to the experts at the Berkeley Wellness Letter, Greek-style yogurt has about 50 percent more protein than regular yogurt, about 20 grams per eight-ounce cup to regular yogurt's 13 grams.
It is thicker because it is strained and the liquid (aka whey) is removed.

Green tea frozen yogurt may be cool, but the war between frozen yogurt chains Red Mango and Pinkberry is heating up. Only weeks after Pinkberry hired branding firm Bulldog Drummond, archrival Red Mango has cut a seven-figure deal with the Richards Group ad agency. In the past two years, a new kind of frozen yogurt has exploded in major American cities by way of Asia. The tart, icy treat with fruit, mochi, and cereal-flake toppings quickly gained a cult following.

Yogurt, be it peach flavored or plain, be it the thick Greek style or the thin European style, is one of my favorite foods. This simple food offers so many health benefits that it is easy to see why I am ya-ya for yogurt. I have tried many types of yogurt and reviewed a few.

Risk with cardiovascular medications
While nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are the major medications responsible for causing peptic ulcers, drugs taken for cardiovascular disease and its risk factors may also cause ulcers. Recent studies have found an association between increased risk of ulcer and the following drugs:
- Spironolactone, a common diuretic used in heart failure
- Niacin, a drug used to lower "bad" cholesterol and raise "good" cholesterol
- Vitamin K antagonists, commonly prescribed anticoagulants
- Dipyridamole, a drug for secondary stroke prevention
- Low-dose aspirin, prescribed for both heart attack and stroke prevention
Risk of peptic ulcer increases dramatically when these drugs are used in combination. Considering the millions of people who take these medications to prevent a life-threatening cardiovascular event, their impact on peptic ulcer development could be monumental.
