You already read your daily horoscope on DearSugar, right? Well, I've got a little astrology treat for you here on BellaSugar, too. Welcome to the first of a 12-part series about beauty for your zodiac sign. I'll profile each sign as it comes, giving hair and makeup tips to bring out your best look. Since Leos are happiest when they're at the center of attention, they want their own beauty to be noticed. When it comes to makeup, they can get away with wearing bold colors, but hair is more important for this sign (think of its namesake, the lion, and its beautiful mane). For instance, Jennifer Lopez and Debra Messing are both Leos with "notice-me" hair-whether they're going for an elegant or trendy look, they almost always get attention for their locks.

What works if you're a Leo Leos look great when they take risks that others might be too shy to try. For instance, Coco Chanel came back from vacation with a tan, and the world followed her lead. While you may not be able to create that big of a trend, modern-day Leos can nonetheless pull off bold colors on their nails and lips. Since gold is Leo's signature color, try metallic eye shadows and nail polishes to get noticed. Invest in a good haircut that makes you feel powerful and confident.

What doesn't work Neutral makeup palettes. They're pretty, but a little bit blah for your sign. You can "Leo" them up by adding small elements of razzle-dazzle-maybe a bright nail color or daring 'do to balance out a subdued face.

You can often recognize a Virgo by an innocent-looking baby face, or by a helpful and sweet disposition. They're mainly known for being detail-oriented, which works both for and against them. On the negative side, a perfectionist streak makes some Virgos too critical, focusing on "flaws" that nobody else notices. What works if you're a Virgo Virgo is an earth sign, which means you look great in neutral colors that bring out your natural beauty. But don't go so natural that you look plain. If you choose a barely-there eye look, balance it with a bold lip (or vice versa). With hair, you can look glamorous by amplifying what you've got. Look at Beyonce, for instance: When she lets her curls out, she's stunning whether she's in a designer gown or jeans and a tee.

What doesn't work Brash, out-there, "look at me!" makeup and hair. Additionally, it's important to know what's age-appropriate. Watch out for certain trends that could be too juvenile, and you should be fine.

Relationship Protocol: Maintaining Your Beauty Routine While in a Relationship

Yesterday I touched upon the notion of not having to shave your legs when you're in a committed relationship, but some of you thought the exact opposite; that you actually need to be more mindful on keeping yourself manicured when seeing someone. Now I understand the importance of making yourself desirable for your man, but let's be honest ladies, sometimes we let the little things go by the wayside when we know he isn't going anywhere just because you "forgot" to shave your legs! So although I don't advise anyone to completely let themselves go, I am all for being your natural self in front of your significant other, even if that means skipping out on a hair wash or two. So what about you? Do you think it's imperative to maintain your beauty regimen when in a relationship?

Beautiful Bangs For Your Face Shape, Part I: Round

Welcome to my series on bangs for your face shape. In the past, I've covered blush colors for your skin tone, moisturizers for your skin type and eye shadows to enhance your eye color. Now with celebrities like Kate Moss and Carmen Electra making bangs look sexier than ever, I thought some information about which bang styles compliment your face shape might be helpful.

The first part of the series is about round faces. Celebs such as Cameron, Carmen, Christina, Kirsten and Kate are just a few famous femmes with round faces. (That's a lot of K sounds-I wonder if the shape of your face is correlated to the sound of your name!)

If you have a round face, you'll first want to start off with a haircut that flatters your face shape and then move onto the "fringe benefits" later.

What you're aiming for is long, side-swept bangs or wispy fringes. Both help take attention away from the sides of your face, creating an arch which will help elongate your face. Stay away from super-choppy bangs or short layers that add volume to the sides.

What works if you're a Libra Libras sparkle when they wear colors such as rose, lavender, blue and teal-just not all at once! You may be willing to experiment with daring looks, but you always know when to say when. Look at Gwen, for instance: She favors bold blonde hair and bright red lips, which could be garish if they weren't balanced by low-key eyes and skin.

What doesn't Wearing neutrals, and neutrals alone. Libras really shine with a shot of color, so if most of your hair and makeup routine is low-key, play up your best features with a bold hue. (Think of Avril Lavigne's streak of pink hair, or Parminder Nagra's soft green eyeliner.)

Aquarius is the sign that usually gets lumped into the summer-of-love, hippie-style stereotype, but this sign is so much more than that. Aquarians are said to be original, outgoing, intelligent, and willing to embrace out-of-the-ordinary ideas. So don't be surprised if the most popular person at a party is an Aquarius-although this sign is known for eccentricity, people born under it get along with just about everybody.

What works if you're an Aquarius: Individuality. Essentially, Aquarius girls look best when they embrace their quirks. So don't try to force your appearance into a narrow mold; if you have curly hair, for instance, let it flow naturally.

What doesn't: Following the fad of the moment. If you're into a trend, by all means, play around with it. But following a trend for the sake of being in fashion just isn't you. In addition, watch out for snoozy neutrals that can wash you out. While you can still use natural shades, watch out for colors that fade into your skin tone. Happy birthday, Aries! This sign is the "baby" of astrology because it kicks off the zodiac, but if you think it could be a docile infant, think again! This is a feisty fire sign, bringing adventure, confidence, and courage wherever an Aries lady goes. Think of Sarah Michelle Gellar, who was drawn to the role of Buffy Summers. Does Your Significant Other Complain About Your Beauty Routine?

I'm not entirely convinced that Mr. Bella will ever understand my beauty routine. "Do you really need to put wax (tinted moisturizer) on your face?" he asks. "Why do you have dark brown conditioner?" he wonders. "What is that torture device (eyelash curler) you are putting on your lashes?" he inquires.

Even though I'm all about looking nice and presentable when I leave the house, I don't consider myself overly excessive. In reality, all I need is about 15 minutes for the everyday hairstyling and makeup application. What about you? Does your significant other have not-so-nice things to say about the time you spend on your beauty routine?
