Now when you're perusing through Google News, you'll notice the little YouTube logo under any news story that offers a video clip.
What's great about the new addition, is the fact that you can watch the clip directly under the story — no need to navigate away from the page. Similar to how you can watch YouTube videos right in your Gmail inbox window.

The masters of satire over at The Onion have this faux news story about a YouTube challenge to its users: Make a video worth watching. The requirement? That it be somewhat watchable, provide a shred of enjoyment for someone other than the people who made the video, that the person who shoots the video have a reason for doing so other than, "I own a camera," and that the person shoots it while sober.

There are plenty of ways for stores and brands to embrace social networking these days and New Look are approaching it with open arms. They have found plenty of new ways to interact with the customer not least through the myLook community. Now the brand is taking to the shop floor across the UK to launch it's youtube channel where they are going to bring you the latest shopping news, and they're starting off with a presenter search.

OK, I've discreetly wiped the tears from my eyes post-wedding and have to report that I was pleasantly surprised — after all the hype, The Office managed to pull off unconventional and totally touching nuptials for Jim and Pam.
The video sneak peek didn't give away the wedding surprises — or the moments of hilariousness that arose. I've put together my favorite lines of the episode here, so check them out — and for another Office water cooler, join The Office group in the community!

It wasn't that long ago when we found out that YouTube started offering a nice selection of TV shows on its website, and now they have just launched a directory for movie trailers. I know it's fairly easy to find movie trailers online nowadays, but what I like about YouTube's format is the way they are organized. Cut right to the chase with specified categories like Popular, Latest, In Theaters and Opening Soon.

It's "Boring Week" over at Everything Is Terrible, and they dug up a video described on YouTube as "the most boring video in the world." In it, a representative for Magellan travel products shows a couple how to pack. Your eyes may glaze over as quickly as theirs do as the mind-numbingly boring speaker expounds on a mind-numbingly boring topic.

I swear I can listen to a song over 100 times and still manage to mess up the words, or make up my own — kinda like the Romy and Michele's High School Reunion scene when they sing Footloose (Footloose manages to turn into cut loose).
Because I regularly watch music videos on YouTube, I've used this Greasemonkey extension to help me with song lyrics, but what about my iTunes library? Thankfully a reader has submitted a neat download to the Download of the Day group to help this geek out.

Hulu isn't gonna know what hit them now that YouTube has launched a new television show section on its website, which includes categories like family, sports, comedy, romance, and even movies! What's great is that there's already a wide selection of shows, including classics like Alf, MacGyver, and 90210 — I know, ALF! Word has it that YouTube has signed agreements to distribute content from Sony, Lions Gate, CBS, MGM, and more, so hopefully the selection of shows keeps growing.
