Taylor Lautner Takes a Trip to See the Lakers
Taylor Lautner headed to see basketball team the LA Lakers play yesterday at the Staples Center, looking casual and relaxed in his black leather jacket and jeans. He got rather animated as the game unfolded, leading to a few amusing shots as he had some downtime before his new movie Valentine's Day is released. Just as animated were Vanessa Hudgens and her man Zac Efron, who also attended the game.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens went on a romantic date to a Lakers game last night and watched their team win a close game over Charlotte. The two laughed and cuddled their way through four quarters, while just a few feet away Taylor Lautner kept his eyes on the action. Next week the Twilight star will be up on the big screen playing high school sweethearts with his ex, Taylor Swift, in Valentine's Day — it's your last day to enter our contest here!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend an hour with Zac Efron! He and his castmates in Me and Orson Welles, Claire Danes and Christian McKay, talked about their new movie in a Q&A session with UK journalists alongside their director Richard Linklater. Zac looked handsome and casual in a blue t-shirt and jeans, and fiddled with a bottle top on the table while talking, he was pretty self-deprecating, as was Claire who looked gorgeous and was really funny.
5 Actors Zac Efron Could Follow
Zac Efron has been looking to break out of the High School Musical mold lately by picking some more grown-up roles. Today comes news of his two latest projects: first, he's signed on to star in Fire, based on the graphic novel by Brian Michael Bendis, and he also has another project lined up, called Algorithm. Efron has been trying to make a move to more serious fare, like last Fall's Me and Orson Welles, and I'm wondering if he'll be able to make an easy transition out of the 'tween spectrum and into more legitimate movie star territory.
Zac and Vanessa Stay Cozy Together on a Rainy Double Date
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens braved the midday downpour in LA yesterday to join Brittany Snow and her boyfriend Ryan Rottman for lunch at Katsuya. By the time the meal was done, the sky had cleared up a bit and the foursome exchanged hugs before heading their separate ways. Zac and Vanessa looked cute and loving as usual after spending their Sunday night hitting up the Golden Globe Awards' biggest afterparty where we spotted them taking a taste of the Godiva-covered wall.

Following on from last week's part one of my interview with the Me and Orson Welles cast — Zac Efron, Claire Danes and Christian McKay — and director Richard Linklater, here's part two! Last night the cast attended a screening of the film in NYC alongside Claire's husband Hugh Dancy, Precious actress Gabby Sidibe and Stephen Dorff. In London last week, they discussed finding Orson Welles, knowing who he actually was (!) and Zac told us about his worst audition.
Claire and Zac Share Mutual Admiration
Zac Efron and Claire Danes were out and about in NYC yesterday to continue promoting their new movie Me and Orson Welles. The duo stopped by The Early Show for an interview and later met up again for a screening at night. Zac and Claire were full of compliments for each other as they make the rounds and have some cute back and forth banter during their morning appearance — watch it after the jump.
