The lines wrapped around the store, the die-hards that camped out the night before, the complimentary coffee, and — of course — high-fives and cheers from the army of Apple store employees as you enter the building with high hopes and exit the building, shiny new device in hand.
You don't walk past an Apple store the morning a phone goes on sale without hearing crowds that sound as if their hometown sports team just won the world championship.
