The Incredible Thing This Bus Driver Did For an Elderly Passenger Is Going Crazy-Viral

A bus driver in Ireland proved a small act of kindness can go a long way when he went one step beyond his duty for a fellow passenger. William Harris was letting an elderly woman off his bus when she almost tripped and he saw why — her shoelaces were untied. When he told her, she said she knew, and that's when he realized she could not bend down to tie the laces herself. So, William got off the bus and did it for her.

This kindhearted gesture was documented by passenger Clara O'Brien; she took a photo of what was happening and posted the snap to the bus company's Facebook page.

Since she shared the story of William and the passenger, it has received more than 79,000 likes and 2,000 comments, including one from William's own family member, who said, "That's my brother!! William Harris my mother bought us up to respect others around!"

O'Brien wrote, "I haven't seen someone do something so kind in as long as I can remember and the lady was so appreciative she blew a kiss as the bus was pulling away."
