The Adorable Story of These Orphaned Pets Will Burst Your Heart

We first stumbled upon Chip and Adele through a sweet Facebook video (see below) that made us want to immediately scoop them up. Then, we landed on their Facebook page and fell even harder for the story behind the two. "Chip & Adele were both orphaned and alone, so they were paired together on March 20, 2015," reads their About description. "They will be in foster care until they are old enough for adoption." Chip is a 5-week-old Chihuahua puppy, and Adele is a 4-week-old kitten. The two — who live in Dallas, TX — were paired up through a no-kill shelter called Operation Kindness and immediately became best friends. Commenters who have discovered the two are offering to adopt them and, best of all, keep them together. This is one story we will definitely be following.

Sometimes you just need a snuggle.
