Oh man, if only it wasn't $180... :(

I like the idea, but the price is a little steep. I would rather spend that money on a new cell phone, or some other gadget with a few more uses that is not already covered in my house by my 10$ specials.

I love my Chumby!! It is the ultimate geek toy. Now that I have one I want a second one. Yes, it is a great alarm clock, but it is more than that. I love rolling over after it wakes me up and reading the latest headlines or favorite RSS feeds. I want a second one in my kitchen for pictures music. I have even written my first widget.

My boyfriend got one of these. He doesn't use it as an alarm clock, but it is cute! You can pick "widgets" which will roll across the screen. Of course the SugarNetwork has its own chumby widgets which are great. It is a good way to catch major headlines and snipits of things that interest you. One of the best functions is its ability to use your wireless network to stream music into whatever room you are in!

I for one will NOT be spending my 200$ on one of these guys!! I think it's a great idea but if i wanna see the weather, i walk to the tv and turn it on to the weather channel. which takes a whole 30 seconds. And if i had the time to check out the news and watch videos in the morning, (which i don't) i would just take the extra 5 minutes and turn on my computer. Dont get me wrong, this thing is really cool and cute but i'm not gonna sit on my bed staring at a tiny little alarm clock to read news and watch videos while i can walk to the living room and watch it on a 52" screen. Maybe i'm just in a bitter mood today but seriously, 200$!?
