Jabra's headphones had us at "on-ear memory foam padding." We first tried the Danish audio company's Jabra Revo ($199) and the NFC-enabled Jabra Revo Wireless ($249) at this year's CES, where it was love at first listen, and now they're available for purchase.
The headphones aren't only comfy — they're durable, too. The aluminum frame and flexible shatter-proof headband are made for heavy wear and tear. Steel side hinges allow the headset to collapse, so it fits compactly in a purse or backpack.
When it comes to tech specs, the Revo headsets boast some impressive features. The right earphone is touch enabled, allowing listeners to control volume, skip tracks, and redial the phone using their fingertips. The Revo also pairs with Jabra's Sound App for iOS and Android, which uses Dolby Digital Plus technology to create deep bass and robust sound. A comfortable, immersive music experience is exactly what we expect from the over-the-ear headphones we use day in and day out — and Jabra might just be our new top pick.
