Crate and Barrel's New Charging Station: Love It or Leave It?

Crate and Barrel's New Charging Station: Love It or Leave It?

One of my favorite places to shop for my apartment, Crate and Barrel, has come out with its own charging station — and to my delight, it's both simple and attractive, but at $45, it also doesn't break the bank.

For a charging station that doesn't look like crap, that's definitely a reasonable price, considering some Pottery Barn stations have been known to skyrocket to almost $200!

I like the dark wood exterior and achingly simple design, but it might be too basic for some people. Does it do anything for you?

Maybe because I have an iPhone and use that as my phone, music player, and digital camera (albeit it lacks the luxuries of a real digital camera, namely flash), I don't really see the need for a charging station. And $45 is still too much for a place to rest your electronics while they're charging... what's wrong with the tabletop?

I like the way it looks and I've been in need for a charging station...except $45 is still way too much, especially just for a charging station. But C&B *is* sort of expensive in some product areas, particularly when it comes to technology.

Definitely love it! There's nothing better than a simple idea -- especially when it's so affordably priced and comes with cash back!
