I'm a big fan of the creep-tastic Dead Space franchise, and just before Dead Space 2 hits shelves next week, EA and Visceral Games put together a promo that takes things in a new direction. The ad doesn't necessarily show off the game, but instead it shows how moms react to game footage.
Researchers recruited everyday moms to check out scenes from the upcoming game and videotaped their reactions. It's smart, because obviously, kids want to play games their moms hate, right? You can check out the (hilarious) individual clips on the DeadSpace YouTube page, but there is one mom who didn't find the footage too disturbing. In fact, she may have found it hilarious.
