Do You Still Listen To The Radio?

When I first saw this cute pink iPod FM Transmitter on the gadget blog I immediately thought that this would be a great accessory for the car. But then I was like, wait a minute, when was the last time I actually listened to the radio? This got me thinking: Do people still listen to the radio? Or has the world of digital music taken over? When we can create our own playlists with all our favorite songs, do people still bother to tune in?

My husband rigged my Audi to house XM straight through the cd player with out me having to constantly switch channels to find a clear one. Then when Im dont listening to XM, I just take out the adapter and plug it into my Nano. I couldnt tell you what radio stations we have here in Ohio though. LOL

I have an older car so the only music I get when I'm driving is radio. It's way before cd players, the cassette thing doesn't work very well, and the cigarette lighter nevers worked since I've had it. Thus, radio's the only choice for road trips.

I HATE the radio - I hate the rotation and I really really really hate people talking (ads and hosts). My solution to the problem isn't very high tech, but I haven't listened to the radio since I got a car with CD player.

Every Sunday, when I am drawing to the sea side, I am listening to radio Split (Croatia, Dalmatia - Europe) They have this great talk show called "Never on Sunday" I love the movie and the music with Greekish sound, and the guy is actually doing some great job with this show, a little bit preaching and a little bit humour, and the music is usually from the sixties, just like the movie, and they always play the "Never on Sunday" by Melina Mercouri at the beginning od the show. During the summer radio stations in Croatia have news and some other program in English, German and Italian, for tourists...
