Sometime over the long Thanksgiving weekend next week I know I'll be stationed at my parents' desktop going over how to upload and send photos or downloading new programs onto my dad's netbook. I don't go back home that often, so when I do, there's always a list of minor tech issues (or just things they don't know how to do on the computer) waiting for me to do.
Just like many other parents, mine seem to be progressing relatively well with the digital times. While they don't Facebook or Twitter like more tech-inclined parents, they do like to send me cute texts and score great airline deals online.
But even if your parents already tweet up a storm, sometimes they simply aren't as comfortable with and knowledgeable about technology as our generation (which can make for some funny tech stories!). How about your family? Will you be fixing the wireless or downloading virus scanners for your parents this holiday, or are they just as tech-savvy as you?
