Ear Muff Headphones: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?

The Ear Muff Headphones, $30, may be a ridiculous item for someone like me, who lives in a climate that only goes below 50 degrees a couple times a year, but for those of you out there in the colder climates, they may be a necessity. The Ear Muffs come complete with built-in stereo headphones, but the headphones can be removed if need be.

I wish they had the quilted version in other colors too...

It's so cute. If they were wireless, then that would be even more awesome! Plus, I could ignore people by listening to music on the sly... ;)

Those would be great for me. The wind whips through the buildings at school so having my ears warm while listening to music would be awesome.

it is pretty cold in michigan, but my skullcandy skull crushers keep my ears rather toasty themselves when I walk to work.

Those are pretty cute. I like they way the look. Nice and warm while listening to music. What's better than that?

That's actually a really clever idea. I have to walk across campus in the freezing weather sometimes (Michigan, anyone?) and these would be a great way to keep my ears warm and still have my music.

headphone are tough enough. I would wear those anytime, not just when it's cold.

I think they're great! Especially for those freezing cold days when your walkign outside somewhere or waiting for the bus!

Here where I live the average temp for December is -12°C (10°F), but the coldest I have ever experienced is -40°...the point at which Fahrenheit and Celsius meet. There's a bit of trivia for you :) But basically, in the winter you *have* to keep your ears covered, and hats and earphones can be an uncomfortable combination. It might not be super stylish, but I need my music!

In my part of the country, 50 degrees is a pretty nice day. :ROTFL: But I wouldn't wear those.

Totally cute and practical. Having your earmuffs pressing on your headphones can be so painful. I have too much hair for the wraparound style, but an over-head style with one cord would be fantastic.

Erm, I don't really like these, I don't really wear ear muffs, but I don't know what the fashion is in the US, the UK certainly wouldn't take to them.
