Although you may be giving yourself a facelift by participating in the Facebook doppelganger week (let's be honest — do you really think your friends believe you look like Scarlett Johansson?), Facebook is giving itself another makeover. The social networking site has been through quite a bit of changes over the past year (some helpful, and some not so much), but this one is strictly cosmetic.
The change returns the navigational tabs back to the left hand of the screen to where they were before, and provides some big improvements for the photo albums. Additionally, you'll find there's soon to be a pop-out messaging box, so you don't have to leave your main page to see your private messages. It seems as if the enhancements have been rolled out to a number of select users first (who've posted screenshots), while the rest of us will see all the changes on our accounts coming up soon.
