Folding FOZI Tripod: Love It or Leave It?

Why lug around a heavy tripod for your camera when you can use the ultraportable FOZI tripod by Timetable? Featured on Wired, the FOZI consists of three plastic cutouts that connect together to form a steady support for most compact cameras. Use this tripod to hold your camera at four different angles and easily stow it in your purse when it's not in use. Available in pink, red, blue, black, white, clear, and clear striped. Priced at $9 or $35 for a pack of 5. I'm sure it would be good to have while traveling, but you're still going to need to ask strangers to take your pic if you can't find a ledge to set the tripod on! What do you think? Love or leave?

Unnecessary. Wouldn't you still need a flat surface of the proper height to put it on? Would only be useful if I wanted to view a slideshow or video without using my hands.

In low lighting this could be handy, but not the right size for my DSLR. I'll have to stick to using my clunky big tripod.

It's cute and I would get it for a friend, but I could just as easily create a free version on a sturdy piece of colored cardboard.

@: bubbaincalI don't watch video on my iPod, but if I did, I'd use this:http://tinyurl.com/ypgxlf (links to lifehacker)Make your own iPod stand with a business card.I doubt it'll be sturdy enough to hold a camera...

It's cute, but I can't think of any reason I'd personally use it.

I was just thinking today, I need something to hold up my ipod while watching video on it.

Seems a bit useless in the long run - just have someone take your picture for you.

it looks neat because it looks like you could tilt the camera and what not. which is really useful.
